Demolish Jinnah House and Build Cultural Centre in Mumbai: BJP MLA

Well, the man is long dead. He gave up on India. And his bloodline chose India. And his bloodline remains Indian. That irony is stronger than destruction of any inanimate building. But if it makes people feel nice, go for it. I just love old buildings and would rather it be used and renamed Shivaji Kridalaya something.

Cheers.
Who is this Shivaji ?His country is evident and visible on the map of the world...He will be remember by every paksitani ..So yes building counts nothing...

Only some fringe element claiming that it was originally a temple! nothing about demolishing it though:lol:

Same fringe which now rape dead bodies of muslim women as religious ritual lol. I'll give them couple of years before they demolish taj mahal. Maybe soon after next election.

I think you are confusing these fringe elements with the Islamic State.

Just think about it:

There are people in Pakistan who'll put pictures of Modi's (or any other nutter who is loved by fanatic hindus) on the hole of toilets where shyt goes down.

I wonder why these fanatic Sanghis are allowed to disrespect Pakistanis on Pakistan Defence Forum? I personally think that PDF is being too tolerant to allow these nutters run amock on this site.

Firstly its not Jinnah House its South Court, its in Mumbai, India & is not Pakistan's concern, ppl need to check background of this issue instead of this emotional blowout. This BJP MP Lodha or whatever actually is trying to reject Dina Wadia, the daughter Quaid e Azam Jinnah himself disowned and removed her from his will. She has been trying to get hold of this prime property which lies opposite Maharashtra CM house. Making it extremely unlikely for Pakistan to have in foreseeable future

Quaid e Azam before leaving the place asked Nehru to give it to some European consulate. Pakistan state since 50s has been trying to get this as Pakistani consulate which Indians have denied, in better times. In 2004 Musharraf tried to renegotiate after which Dina Wadia brought in media giving a headline 'don't let them [Pakistan] grab our house'. Since 1947 Jinnah House is being treated as enemy property although excluded from enemy property act by Nehru.

Lodha is trying to use the property for point scoring as a cultural center where he'll put symbols of Pakistan defeat in 1965 and 71, we should'nt take the bait.

We don't need a consulate, actually we don't need an embassy in New Delhi also. Break or downgrade ties with the country is the most important need of the hour.

What Irony?
He disowned his only daughter after she married, someone he didnt like.. further i think she resides in England not India.

This building means nothing to Pakistan, Indians can do to it as they wish...our forefathers already accomplished what they sought.

Jinnah was a genius, he foresaw a hindu dominate India would never truly treat muslims as equals. He was right.
