Yes,you should never change a working system.Reflection of typical Confucius ideology, it's not how a structure is formed, it's about how well it works. Western democracy was created in the west and reflects strong western culture, history and values which China and the west are worlds apart.
Yeah, that too is dying. The only places to find Maoism now on the whole planet are India and Nepal
Your writing is kind of contradictory, democracy is a western ideology and your constitution was kind of written by foreigners, language is the essence of a culture and you even lost part of that.
Also known as dictatorship without person-centric and is replaced by a single party system which will not allow a different opinion to evolve. Freedom is also ability to speak up against the authority without the fear of being suppressed. That's why Chinese communism is as different as difference gets comparing to the Soviet Union. It's only in name of communism.it's actually meritocracy which has been around in China for thousand of years.
Indians mistake freedom for talking about speaking ,we Chinese think freedom being more than that. Freedom is you have more means and more time for yourself , your family and do things you like to do without worrying your livelihood, one can never feel free if their daily struggle is the next meal. In this case, a person without economic means can never be free ,cause they are bonded with the heaviest shackles known to the humanity. What China is doing is to target the very essence of human freedom so that people can be happy and content. In a sense , Africa and India are the places where people enjoy least freedom cause people are tied down by their very existence.
The basic question is why the great majority of Chinese people support CPC and why you Indians care so much about our system and we don't really care or talk about yours. The Chinese democratic party leader arrested n sentenced for 11 years in jail for creating political party in 1998.why so fear psychosis among CPC.
The Chinese have americans never really clear.
China is changing the world. Not the other way round.
On topic: democracy in China will be an eventuality, there is no denying that the Chinese expats in western democracies are influencing the people back home.
Slowly but surely China will tilt toward democracy.
Wrong, the most adamant CPC supporters are young Chinese with history of studying abroad ,like many you can see in PDF here.

China is a manufacturing powerhouse , in that regard it is a very important country.China is changing the world. Not the other way round.
Countries around world tend to adopt more successful models, it doesn't matter what that model is. China is gaining ground on that.China is a manufacturing powerhouse , in that regard it is a very important country.
But it's not a very politically influential country, not many countries want their govt to become like the Chinese model, although some points can be taken and adopted.

Actually when Mao united China, a lot of overseas Chinese in SEA returned to China to answer Mao call. One of my Aunt was one of them. Although she later had to flee to Hong Kong due to the cultural revolution. The educated/non-farmer Chinese that were pro-democracy fled to Taiwan/Japan/SE Asia following the Communist takeover. So, the new class of educated Chinese were not raised in way to desire democracy; instead, they valued economic stability and growth... which is exactly what the Communist Party of China has been providing its citizens for the past 30 some years.
