Thats y both of u and @LeGenD got less thanx per post avg which shows u got courage to speak against popular opinion our and US relations always up and down but does not means we count as enemy (here Pakistan paranoia always come off course they did some huge mistakes but during times we were able to extract benefits from them too ) our target should be Pakistan interest first definitely US favor Israel( another paranoia button for us) and trying to get benefits of Indian huge market no harm just make sure that does not come on our price thats diplomacy.When recently MAlaysia said we are not going to support any country in recent conflict we understand Malaysia did what best for them,few years back TAliban said not necessary all enemies of Pakistan taliban consider their enemies too.Mature statement we understand it so give that to USA as well.We becoming best buddy to Russia (which we never thought back in 1980's) and with US we shared long history more convenient why push USA totally to India at least effort to make it understand our position too.Looking forward to IK expected USA visit this year will define new era of our relationship hopefully if we don;t expect to get treatment of favorite child like cold war era.Times changes World changes

@LeGenD and me always have similar views on US pak relationship. I believe we will get chopper but we need to work more over defense sector no issue from US issue unless we have money .

Man when we ordered in 2016 and delivery will be in 2019 i understand this not gonna happen . USA dis not stick on policy 1 year how can they stay 4 years .it was my fear since day one that we are not gonna recive these cobras .we wasted time efforts and money as always . Usa will hand over them after 10 years as always

Pakistan Army AH-1Z at AMARG

Nine Pakistani AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters are currently stored at 309th Aerospace Maintenance And Regeneration Group (AMARG), Tucson (AZ). Their delivery was postponed with the excuse that Pakistan was not ready to receive them. It is uncertain what the future delivery time frame will be.

All helicopters are in the process of being covered in white rubber coating known as 'spraylat' to preserve them in pristine condition. The nine Vipers involved are; 786-061, 062, 063, 067, 068, 069, 070, 071, and 072. The other three, 786-064 to 066, are thought to be stored elsewhere; most possible at NAS Patuxent River (MD).

Pakistan has no money our priorities are somehwere else at the moment. Least priority would be for anything made in united states. United states is a very unreliable supplier

Thanks we pakistani r very emotional and short term Thinkers America is super power like it or not and theior relations with other nations except few r interest based we don't think that way.we have to relavent with US and look for more weapon deals plus increase theior corporate America size in Pakistan.there is no challenge for them Yrs to come.i am 200% confident that we will get these birds plus more F16s down the road

1)F 16 which u currently proud and its proved its worth so many times,back in 1980 US dont waana give it to Pakistan but successfully persuaded esp on name of USSR invasion to every month on afghan refugees camp also protecting supply conveys finally get under peacekeeper 1 and 2 (they definately wanna see some bloody USSR nose too ) its game of showing what u can get in any deal
2)Those super famous AIM 120 (Need to show indian guys showing it on press conference ) we later got it 500 of those in 2007-8 when we were close on name of AFG again (was worth over 260-285 million but u see how effective they proved?
3)Last August when new PTI govt asked for IMF bail out rejected(us pressure) but now its approved need to mention why ??also there is high chances of IK visit of Washington this year (depends on some condition) its all game of mutual benefits.And dont forget we are still part of CENTCOM means there are some powerful ears of Washington we can whisper our position
About china and cpec will cover in some other post but due to past thanx god we playing with caution as exp of past taught us now how to deal with American in defence related matters but still more avenues open for us lets explore all and IA will choose what is only best for Pakistan either it comes from china,Russia,US or any other

No US aid there r hundreds ways we get help and give help to US.

USAID is prog name in which they offer lots of technical help too esp regarding Agriculture saw in results on ground amazing also they helping in fisheries too.Agri is the sector we need to focus in coming year a lot per acre production also per animal milk ratio is much much better in US compare to PAkistan we can learn a lot
