I wish L&T had done better work on Bangalore airport, though a huge expansion is on the cards with one more runway, seven and five star hotels, malls, golf courses etc.

i guess GVK built bangalore airport... not sure though

Siemens constructed the airport and GVK is the major shareholder. BIAL won best airport in India award in 2011.

Yes one reason but good construction practice should address it. It is more to do with lack of green cover, truck and trolleys carrying soil/sand without covering it, plants and trees pits not covered by heavy wood pieces or other alternatives.

When 70% of Indian population lives below 2 dollars a day, what would be the need for such a glamorous airport?

I'm the sure the billions Indians wasted on this airport could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives that are lost to poverty annually in India.

The servants in Taiwan are from Philippines. Get your own Filipina servants to work for India. But first, get India's GDP per capita as high as Taiwan's so the Filipinos would want to work there.

Just because their pirates murder one of Taiwanese fisherman does not mean that Taiwan will use this as an excuse to conquer the entire Philippines. That may be how the Brits took over the whole Indian subcontinent but that is not how Taiwanese roll.
