In Dhaka its hard to get a maid with standard salary of 7-10k. Why would people illegally go to India for same salary or slightly more, considering the hassle they have to go through.

I think, the main reason for these women to go to India is to watch Hindi/Urdu movies they are fond of. BD studios must be creative and produce better pictures that can match Bombay ones.

No seriously we watch tamil movies but dubbed in hindi of course. Tamil movies are good in content but there is a language barrier. I watched tamils movies with english subtitles since young but when I went to Bangladesh and found the people there were watching tamil movies it was kind of shocking.
