I'm from the UK..Ryan Air used to offer tickets at silly rates on flights that left Stansted early Saturday and returned the same night.I lived not far from Stansted so regularly flew to Pisa (Florence), Milan, Verona etc for the day to grab a gelatto or Gerona(Barcelona) for a quick hop over which, in retrospect, was crazy and morally wrong.
