Delay to Tejas Mk 2 could push IAF into accepting modified Mk 1s

O wait, now the IAF chief is not taking kick backs? When IAF chief was rejecting the LCA he was a corrupt general who took bribes, now he gave clearance so now he is a goody two shoes? LOL!!

See, you are a person who imagine a lots of thing and think that others say that. neither I told indian Air force chief good , Bad or corrupt. Show me when I did that. Do not put the words in my mouth to justify your lame claims.

Of course you did that. You are a man who claimed an aircraft can lose 800 kgs but you did not explain HOW.

How many times do you want me to explain?

1) Removal of Balancing weight 300 KG
2) Landing gear weight reduction 200 KG.
3) Redesigned light weight wings, More composite parts, slashing of some other over engineered parts. 300 KG.

Even electronic components are getting compact which shall free some space to accommodate some other stuff.

1. Which parts of the aircraft are the balancing weight and how are they gonna be replaced and by what?

2. How do you reduce weight of landing gear. You take out the wheels?

3. More composite parts you say, where will they be added or replaced?

How do you shed of THOUSAND kilos from a light combat aircraft?
Removal of 300kg ballast near the front end and simplifying the landing gear removes another 500kg,use of Elta 2052 which is about 130-180 kg instead of the now overweight MMR radar. HAL manages to increase the use of composites,then 1000kg reduction is very doable.

You don't just add or remove weight from an aircraft without taking its agility, speed, performance into consideration. If say the LCA is now able to carry a payload of 4 tons how much will it be able to carry once it is lighter by a 1000 kgs? Will the weight reduction affect its range, weapons carry, performance etc.?
