No offense but is this PRC National Day or ROC National Day ie is this a political day? Or is it cultural and common?

October 1 is the day on which the People's Republic of China was formed. The National Day of the PRC.

October 10 is the day on which the Republic of China was formed. The National Day of the ROC.

October 10 is in fact an important date for both, since that is the anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. The revolution that overthrew China's last Imperial Dynasty and established a modern Chinese Republic.

Which is why Sun Yat-sen is one of those figures who is regarded very highly by both the PRC and the ROC.

I have seen it before on youtube but cannot find it now
If you don't know 1911 is on Sun yat-sen & the 1911 revolution that kicked out Qing
