Defence alert over Pakistan's air space violation

I think it's a bit diffrent flying in your air space and violating another country air space and getting shot down. Anyway the facts and evidence clearly shows the reality....no need to flame!

You people use "facts and evidence" way too generously....

As mentioned....refer to the case and the judgement from the neutral tribunal....end of Story!

As predicted, the sob story begins.....

A patrol plane violated our airspace....it had no business flying into our airspace....armed or unarmed....same goes for our UAVs flying on the far side of the border....
Besides...the decision of the independent tribunal on this matter should speak for itself...

There was no need to add the desperate caption .....thats all! Remove it and we are good!
Your predictions are far from the reality, or perhaps you missed the images of Indian soldiers running helter skelter in a desperate bid to salvage some trophy material. ( Recall that Kodak Moment).
As for the title, you will find it more in line than some car getting it's head lights smashed.

Lolz what's funny is that the Indian army started "SOPs" for two poor little Mashak trainers probably flown by rookie army aviation pilots who went over Jammu for maybe some sight seeing. Imagine IAF deploying SU-30 to chase off this
smk-03_w.jpg

Most probably Mig 29 rather than SU 30. For some reason IAF does not seem to be fully utilizing the SU 30.

Talk the talk, but walk the walk.!!

What kind of set-up needs an F16 to shoot down a drone? Silly sidewinder missile must cost more than the drone!!!! At least there's no painting of a drone's debris in this post, as is this member's modus operandi :-)

Pak UAV shot down
Tribune News Service

Jammu, February 6
The Army shot down a Pakistani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying in the Indian territory over the Mendhar area in Poonch sector yesterday.

The Italian made UAV was reportedly collecting the data on the deployment of armed forces on the Indian side of the Line of Control and was flying 400 metres inside Indian territory. It was shot down at 2 p.m.

A sentry on duty at the border shot down the UAV. It has been brought to the headquarters of the 16 Corps at Nagrota.

This is the third Pakistani UAV have been shot down by Indian forces in a year.

UNI Adds: Army displays the wreckage of the Pakistani unmanned aerial vehicle UAV. “The wreckage of the UAV was scattered over a large area along the LoC and during the search of the area, it was confirmed to be that of the downed Pakistani UAV,’’ the spokesman said. “The UAV had entered about 400 metres inside the LoC on the Indian side,’’ Lt-Col Rathore said.

Its debris, which included one wing, engine Assembly, a frame and transmitters, was also shown to the reporters.

Well, i have seen almost all drones and UAVs of Pakistan (Pak Army n PAF) and this is none of our UAVs. The reason is that non of em has such landing gear assemblies ( red circled ). So, it may be some UAV but it not ours.

So, the question arisies that why indians gave this news. Actually, we shot down indian UAV by F-16. After that, they made it a matter of their pride to shoot one of ours. As they were unable to do so (we bacame careful), they came up with this story. Another argument to support this is that 400m is a very samll distance. If there army was there, so was ours. And as this small mutual distance, a fire should have resulted in a responce from our side (considering tensions at that time).

Alleged UAV shot down

By the way Bharati military also claimed that they shot down 3 not one UAV in a year. Any ways this alleged shot down of Pakistani UAV didn't get much acceptance...:smokin:

Wow. Seriously.:D

Didn't take you long to jump in defence of your best friend?

Well many guys from your nation came to defend you in that thread about 1971 war in which you ranted last time and failed miserably. Death God, Deckinraj, Karthic, blackop etc etc etc. See how many guys you needed to cover up your rant. We never said that you have asked all your best friends to defend you. Any ways I have come in between to say just one thing. Grow up kid. ;)

Anyway, what is there for you to accempt or deny in this my post? Do you not see the photo therein?

Yes saw the photo. It was a UAV. Not a Pakistani for sure. It was just a pathetic tit for tat effort by Indian Military. Interisting thing is that Indian Military claimed that it shot down three Pakistani UAV's. Wonder where were the other two?? OH we know it. It was just a face saving attempt and nothing else.

Seriously, when I think you could not get any denser........

When you would grow up. ;)

:P kyun Frenkenstin ki car ko Indian PM ki dadoo (dinkey) car samjha howa ha kia

Sit in a Ambassador and drive over a landmine - you will suffer only a bent chassis.

Case in point - Chandrababu Naidu and the Maoist attack on him.

@Areesh, My dear, you know they say, when a person reaches a certain age, they start to suffer from withdraw symptoms, hence they desperately try to redeem some self esteem.

@John Doe , with each post and futile banter, your tall claims of seniority lies in tatters. When you are at a war footing with a hostile neighbor, you certainly don't take pot shots at any aggression from across the border. The Indian UAV was shot down during the middle of night, and for the records, it was the first kill of an UAV in the world by a fighter aircraft. As for your cheap shot example, well, how during the Kargil crisis, the three Indian aircraft were brought down should clear any cobwebs in your simple thoughts.
