Deepika Padukone signs Fast & Furious 7

Bollywood's reigning diva, Deepika, who would be making her Kollywoodf
debut with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Kochadaiyaan' has bagged a significant
character in the Vin Diesel film Fast & Furious 7, which also stars Jason
Statham and Dwayne Johnson and could hit the marquee sometime next
year.
Deepika Padukone has earlier acted in a similar action thriller film 'Race 2 '
in Bollywood in which stunned with her looks and performance. The pretty
actress would join the likes of Tabu, Aishwarya Rai and Shabana Azmi who
are other actresses who have worked in a Hollywood film.
Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut and Chitrangda Singh underwent
screen tests for the role in film and looks like the 'Kochadaiyaan ' girl has
bagged the role. Deepika is currently in Dubai shooting for the SRK starrer,
'Happy New Year ' and she wasn't available for comment. Fast and Furious
is a long-running and successful action film franchise which has a big fan
following all across the world and Deepika bagging a huge Hollywood
franchise is another giant leap in the direction of the West for Indian film
industry.
