If you are talking about the capabilities of that aircraft from 35 years ago---they are worthless---.

But then you are not---if you are discussing about the capabilities given to it in this decade---. That is a totally different aircraft with no comparison to the old machine at all other than the wings and fuselage and a tail of the old---.

Yes I know but no upgrade can increase the airframe limits cause those are still same. I just wanted to prove a point that old planes are not useless but deadly even today.
Look at C130 even today nothing can beat it. You can literally land it any where.

Regarding B-52 it is currently most power fleet of destruction since 1950 in the world. So why should not anyone brag about it? Mig Bison is an Indian interceptor and regardless of it being 50 years old our enemy uses it so we have to study it.

We (PAF) had MiG-21bis since 1989 we flew to till it cant be flown against everything we (PAF) had its radar and capability. she wasn`t armed when she arrived...some of you dont know that we had super 7 project going on at that time and chinese were very interested in R25 Engine which they took...later formed the basis of WP14 kunlun.

And if you guys want proof just visit PAF museum there you will find a DRAAF MiG-21bis if you have a chance look at it closely it still in very good condition.

There is no disagreement that MIG21 BIS upgrade is a potent upgrade---.

But the letter is supposedly of 1985---. Which means that MIG was older than the F7PG's that we had.

Paf pilots had flown mig21's in the 1973 war---they would have trained against them as well.

But to make such a big deal and drama about the 1985 item in 2020 is just pulling it out there too far---.

And this poster starts talking about the B-52---. And he has no clue about the upgrade of the B-52---that I had brought it out on this forum years and years ago and many a posters were still clueless till a TT member Aamir Hussein posted a video on a F-22 and B52 on this forum---.

The information about the upgraded B-52 came out in the mid 90's in one of Dale Brown's books as a work of fiction and materialized in tru form in the last decade---.

Just like the F15 eagle that Dale wrote in one of his books Day of the Cheetah in the 90's---we are seeing the similar patterned F15 aircrafts now---.

Posters keep forgetting that unless it is something extraordinary---most of this information on this forum has been supplied by me---. Yes, firing missiles at an aircraft flyng inside irrespective airspace is a clear violation agreed Rules of Engagement (ROE).

This is also the reason why DG ISPR and PAF 'claim' two Indian jets violated their airspace to feign that firing at them wasn't a violation of ROE. Though all members including Pakistanis agree that Su30 was flying deep inside Indian airspace when BVRs at launched at them.

When Mi17 was shot down it was flying back towards the Srinagar airbase and not flying away from it on any SAR mission, that's when airbase air defense shot the helicopter mistaking for a low flying enemy drone coming to attack the airbase.
