Debunking Indian claims of F-16 firing AIM-120C AMRAAM

Buddy, you can have a good laugh, it doesn't change the fact that we have employees of Lockheed Martin based in Pakistan overlooking the use of our F-16 and have been there since the Block-52's arrived. Don't you think they would've noticed if one was missing?

One can understand that when another experiences traumatic events such as...

1. Sending in Mirage-2000's to drop the Spice 2000 Guided Bombs - and still unable to prove that they hit (anything). Oh & by the way, its not just Pakistan questioning about hitting a big nothing, but International Media, India Media & Indian politicians are raising questions as well.

2. Losing a MiG-21 & having its Pilot over for Tea.
Note: 'Geneva Convention' did not apply on him as a PoW, because a WAR needs to be declared, prior to labelling one as a Prisoner of War.

3. The AMRAAM shown in the Press Conference has a Serial Number for Taiwan. And AMRAAM's don't just explode if a target has been missed. It would just be like a f#*kin' Bajaj Motorbike falling from the sky.

4. Had you guys shot an F-16, the Americans would've known within the first hour as Lockheed Martin Support Team are based in Pakistan.

So, if you're pissed off that nothing has gone in your favor - learn to deal with - and move on.

Basically LockMart will know if an F-16 has been downed.

The only question is how the US will play it, given its political leanings toward India and the prospect of the F-21 sale.

Its an uber complicated situation.

"US justified F-16 sale to Pakistan in 2008 as deterrence against India

Pakistan’s use of F-16s against India on February 27 has raised tough questions for Washington, which had justified the sale on grounds of not just combatting terror but also as providing “deterrence value” to Pakistan in case of a future conflict with India.

This is exactly how the then US Ambassador to Pakistan Anne Patterson had framed her embassy’s pitch for an exception to allow for diversion of American counter-terrorism financial assistance to Pakistan for purchasing F-16s and related enhancements.

The package included 500 AIM-120-C5 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs) [....]" READ MORE...

Yes yes, just picture of few trees. It's rather comical. Hiding casualities is not our forte though, as history in Kargil suggest.
As for humiliation, we are not humiliated dear, the only humiliation is being proven time and time again as the sponsors of terrorist, even if we failed at the air strike or lost a fighter, or even got our pilot caputred, the fact remains JeM a terror organization based in Pakistan caused all this.

Even your Muslim iron brother Iran complain about you. :D

But, Pakistanis chest thumping over capturing a pilot and missing the whole point.
Get well soon:lol:.

Yep sure, only the trees but not allowing visit to the facilities that were claimed to be damaged. Which were cordoned off. :enjoy: Real smart.
if what you are saying now is true then what is stopping you from "ghus ghus ke marain ge"? 40 ke badle 4 so ya 4 hajar marain ge, don't your mirages an SUs film when they shoot? release the pictures or had you run out of film?

better search the video ... you can see Hassan in the background !

I have seen the video a million times on social media, please pin point to me where do you see Hassan in the video. You just cannot, because both the pilots named by the Military flew F-16s that day. And they continue to do so today.

true.. but DG ISPR and Pakistan PM claimed two pilots.. and clearly said one is in hospital.. So, if India is lying, parrade the guy or release details.. pakistan has had a good hand to play on that.. but if not Indian pilot, then who?
Following the latest development , could be an Israeli ??

According to them su30 saved from multiple Amraams... :cheesy:
But they sacrifice their leading weapon system jet Su30 MKI to destroy AMRAAM.

Following the latest development , could be an Israeli ??
Really and that is a new theory because?

Am all for debate - but an Israeli pilot being involved here is not a debate - it’s silliness.

I am going to comment on 2 factual inaccuracies in this post.

Point 2: The Geneva Convention applies not only in war but also when there is an armed conflict without any declaration of war. Refer to official document of Geneva Convention 1949 (Article 3; Page 7 of the pdf) http://www.un.org/en/genocideprevention/documents/atrocity-crimes/Doc.33_GC-IV-EN.pdf

Also refer to the commentary by International Committee of the Red Cross (page 2 beginning) for definition of 'armed conflict':
https://www.icrc.org/en/doc/assets/files/other/opinion-paper-armed-conflict.pdf

It states, "any difference arising between two States and leading to the intervention of armed forces is an armed conflict within the meaning of Article 2, even if one of the Parties denies the existence of a state of war. It makes no difference how long the conflict lasts, or how much slaughter takes place"

Point 3: The AMRAAMs with the same serial number has been sold to Pakistan too as is seen from this official US Defense site:
http://archive.defense.gov/Contracts/Contract.aspx?ContractID=3384

"Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $269,646,834 firm-fixed-price contract modification. This action is exercising an option to purchase 500 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) Air Vehicles (AAVs) Air Intercept Missile (AIM) – 120C-5 missiles and rehost. This effort supports foreign military sales to Pakistan 100%. At this time, total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete April 2011. Headquarters Medium Range Missile Systems Group, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8675-05-C-0070/P00028)."

Moreover Taiwan has also denied it as can be read in this taiwanese news article. https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3648621
