I suggest you respond with a laugh and a mention of somebody's name in another forum on PDF that can comment and we can see how long it goes.

There are many topics that should be discussed in Chinese forum since those are Chinese matters but we cant because Chinese mods swing the ban hammer as soon as some words or names get mentioned which is why we have to talk about those topics in Turkish forum for exsample where Chinese mods have no power.

Dont even wanna go into mass trolling and derailing threads until those get either deleted or closed.

Many Chinese members like to put themselves into victim position while turning a blind eye to the behavior of their compatriots.
What they want is that nobody says anything negative about China while they have all the freedom to critisize and even insult others countries but hats not how it works, even they will have to learn it sooner or later.

You are correct. Before the Three Gorges Dam, many more people died. In 1998, over 4000 people were killed. I can understand the drawbacks of the dam such as the negative impact on biodiversity and the physical landscape of such a huge dam but the flood risk mitigation imo is worth it.

Severe flooding in Wuhan is fairly common. This is a picture of a severe flood back in 2016 ... the geography of Wuhan certainly makes these torrential rainfalls considerably worse.
