Death anniversary of General Zia ul Haq

His greatest gift to Pakistan:

Now we are fortunate to have two dynasties instead of one..

He was returning assets ceased by Bhutto's nationalization plan. His father was given back their properties and Zia was working with BECO and others to return their assets and rebuild our industry but as fate would have it the plane crashed and the remaining plans he had feel through and our military even dropped the ball in Afghanistan after his death. If God extended his life a little more history could've been different.

Let's not blame Zia without all the facts in front of us, even some of us who think we know more know far less.

@PakFactor @Silverblaze

Same old story. Be it MLN (1985), MQM or the NROs given in 2002 or AQ in 79.
Such as the US thought it can control Al-Qaedah, and it couldn't. Musharraf thought he could control MQM, he couldn't.

The rebels/corrupt people just listen to their lust for power and money, from the beginning. They can be obedient to the govt/politicians till they get the power. Once, they consolidate, they then bite you as you are preventing them from absolute corruption and control. PPP and MLN are out of arena and the time they came back, with all cases pardoned, they looted more.

That is not evidence to prove your point.

Indians are the kind of species that each one can have multiple ID's on different platforms just to prove a point.

You are like NO Turk i've ever encountered. But then again i've already made accused you for being a fake.

He's most definitely a turk, albeit a kemalist.
Feel free to clear your doubts if you don't believe us.

Zia is the root cause for the problems Pakistan has today. Just a backward radical Islamist. A leader like Imran Khan at that time would have put your country on the right path. Screw him.
Haha you are not Turkish.

Gen Zia was one of the best times in Pakistan. The Economy improved under him.

LOL. You are no Turkish person.

I think I have met a few Kemalists. But none of them have trashed talked Pakistan in any way.

It was unsustainable growth,

If country's exports don't grow in at least 4,5 sectors, the growth is BS and unsustainable

Don't buy into it

Sorry, i'm not that naive.

I shared the link so you can go there and ask the people about Pakistan,or maybe just search keyword pakistan there and read their comments. Not much of rocket science, is it Mr "not that naive"?

Obviously the Kemalists do not like Saudi Arabia or Pakistan.

It hurts their worldview.

Why should we care about Turkey? We are not Turkish citizens anyways.
Turkey is not even an important country in world affairs.

Didn't Zia give the country nukes? I think Zia is a hero and it makes me sad to see people malign him.

why are people on reddit so different than ordinary people and so unrepresentative of the general public?

I had tears in my eyes that day when his plane crashed/exploded
And all my female cousin friends were crying for him that evening ... sadly

Dude there all kinds of people out there, even amongst Turks. Decades ago there was TuAF F-16 exchange pilot. Flew for 3 years in Pak, went back to Turkey. Was trash talking about Pakistan after his tour.....
