Dear Fatherland.. when wilt thou Grow up ?

good to see you disagree with your leaders and compadres about who should clean up terrorism in and from your country. It is Pakistan's responsibility to clean up their mess. If they don't outsiders will so it doesn't spill over.

Yes we are cleaning up each n every sort of terrorist whether he is local or an agent of one's spy ......

I agree that Pakistanis don't need to take their threats too seriously; Indians are generally coward people, so their establishments have to inject some confidence through them through such trash talking.

I agree with the author, making answers of every silly statement by india is like feeding a bone to the dog whenever it barks

Let the dog think we are in a cool mood, and let it come to bite us, then we will shoot this scumdog right in the head

Fatherland? Their country is a male in their eyes? No wonder it's always doing panga with the rest of the countries around it.

If you follow Ayaz Amir, you'd know he started using this term sarcastically.

He writes well. Just goes off the cliff sometimes.

Just read his columns on regular basis and you will understand him better.

The whole point is that silly remarks and chest thumping from across the border should just be ignored. Our previous army chief acted in a mature manner despite provocative remarks of his counterpart in India.

The Indian members forget that their leaders made idiotic comments first and our leadership replied in kind later.
@third eye

Assuming for a moment that Indian leaders did make idiotic comments.

If Pakistani ones including the Chief ' reply in kind", what would call them ? Idiotic too I presume.

We have immature politicians on both side who talk first & think later.

I've been following this former Air Defence Officer for a while.

What a silly...silly article !

Perhaps the Army Chief should've given gardening tips at the formation commander's conference instead of talking about who is involved in terrorism in Pakistan and giving assurance to various stakeholders that we take our defense very seriously.

Likewise perhaps the FO and the Interior Ministry probably should've talked about the 101 ways of making smoothies for a hot Pakistani summer instead of highlighting the admission of India's civilian executive and his ministers of the '71 war being interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign country by backing terrorists and advocating employing terrorism against Pakistan in the present, respectively.
En fact they are the ones who initiate such gibberish we just respond in giving them a bitch slam they deserve.
