Deadly explosions on Moscow Metro system

ok... the question is not if the article is written by a raw member or not

the question is why do these kinds of blasts occur....

whats the mentality working behind them... we have to kill that mentality ... the problem will get solve automatically

Why dont you ask that question to the family members who have been murdered by Russian forces in chechnya, Ingushetia and others states where Muslims are killed by the masses.

A.R. - My question........if I killed your mother, father, wife or children, what will be your response.....Indians here like putting questions, only problem is, they too have experience in Genocide, like that in Kashmir etc

If innocent people are going to be killed of other people, then they are going to kill theirs, in kind, like it or not.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility.

so where did Afghanistan come into this discussion??

Sir, its not claiming of responsibility but of imposing it. Like US did.

Let them have their backs heated once again in Afghanistan. I hope this time Russia has a way to counter the Mud-Attacks of Taliban.

Dont play the victim card. No one is justifying this attack neither other such attacks.

Terming Russian occupation of Chechnya is also biased and onesided and menifestation of hatered because Chechans are Muslims.

And dont try to portray me as hater of Americans, Europeans and Russians, because the Innocent Americans, Innocent Europeans and Innocent Russians have nothing to with wrong policies of their governnments and neither i hate the people But the terrorist policies of their govts.
Dear lady, I am merely pointing at your past posts and inferring from them. what I am saying is that just because they are of your faith doesn't mean that you start taking their words blindly. Most of the world has condemned terrorism and since you are now as well suffering from it, you should also be one of the first people to condemn it.

Terrorism in any form is not good. There is barely any country that is left without some or the other form of terrorism. What you term as Russian occupation is their internal matter and just because Chechens add religious sentiments, don't start blindly taking their words as the sole truth and have bias against Russians. Militancy and separatist movements are also there in your country, isn't it? Would you justify that as well? I think not.

These things are politically sensitive and you don't want to get into the wrong side of these things forgetting the human element alone. What Soviets might have or not have done in the past, cannot be avenged by killing innocent Russian citizens who have equally faced Communist repression and lack of political freedom.

Please think more broadly. Even I am susceptible to temper issues as you might have seen in some threads and therefore as a fellow ordinary human being with mistakes, I suggest you to see the big picture. :-).

Regards

Russia needs to stop its brutality before it can start to moan and groan about being targetted

As the Indian members asked the question..........NOW MINE.....What crime was committed by these innocent soles.

I recall a thread where a Hindu in Pakistan killed his 3 children for his Goddess and all the Indians began to moan about how Hinduism was now being ridiculed by forum members and how they went into overdrive trying to defend their faith trying to blame the individual and detach themselves from him, now all of a sudden they're jumping on the band wagon for a bit of Islam/Pakistan bashing because their partners in War Crimes Russia is hurt........

some sources are now confirming that Chechen seperatists have claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack on their websites.....

it comes as little to no surprise; however the timing is quite strange.

Russia's mistake (though from their perspective I cannot blame them) is that they showered one Ramzan Kadyrov with financial incentives; a former hard-core seperatist became a pro-Russia representative for the Chechens. Many Chechens perceive him as a puppet who has abandoned their cause.

My advice to Russia would be to not negotiate with those who attack civilians; however they must also resolve the Chechna problem. That is their own business.

It does, however, become our business when certain jingoistic elements want to deflect blame by pointing fingers at others who have nothing to do with the problems existing there in the restive North Caucasus region.

I hope Foreign Ministry takes the time to issue strongly worded statement against baseless claims. I think that dealing with indian and their form of diplomacy may hopefully have given them experience in this regard.

Chechnya is and will alsways be an integral part of russia. Russia in no way has ocupied any independent country.

Regarding chechny's past, its the land of Georgians, Cossacks & Kalmyks.

Mansur Ushurma came in the 18th century, prior to that the land had more christians and budhist population.

Read more history freely available online from neutral sources.

Chechnya is an integral part of russia and now the time has again come after the second chechyan war for the christian majority russians to kick the chechnyan terroists :victory:

Some people here need to understand that Indians are not making allegations but it is the Russian Ambassador (which effectively means Russia) is pointing fingers towards you. Stop being obsessed with Indian in first place and man Russia is too huge for you to deal with.

At least all is now clear to forum members that Indian members here have clearly understood and support a religious clash.........all that Bull S*** they used to come out with about religion not to be used as a pretex for war and that crap....THIS IS THEIR TRUE FACE

I was replying to Jana, whose history is different from world history.
The people who had bombed are terrorist. (Do you undesrtand the meaning of terrorist).

If so then they needs to be crushed by the Russians.

Is Chechnya a part of Russia? No. Than how can it be an internal matter? This is a game of action-reaction and will continue till Russia changes her inhumanitarian policies.

Secondly, wasn't Saddam-Kurds conflict an internal matter? Why did US interfare there? Obvious are the reasons and since they went in someone elses war, US is in worst condition in Iraq and so in Afghanistan.

We strongly condemn terrorism. Because Pakistan has given the most sacrifices against terrorism. We are the nation that has affected the most. We as nation have given the most and paid the biggest prize that you can never repay.

Russian acts against Chechens are the basic reasons for such incidents. Just like innocent Russian Citizens should not be killed, the innocent Chechen Citizens also are equal worthy.

Don't shy away from the questions.....WHAT WILL YOU, YOU AR do if I killed your family..........then understand why those who are killing Russians are doing what they are doing.....

This ideology of Indians, where they think they can kill innocent people in other parts of the world and think nothing will happen to theirs is somewhat pathetic to say the least.......These people too, pay their taxes, elect a government, those funds are used to manufacture arms and train troops used to kill the innocent people, like it or not, they are indirectly responsible for the deaths of the innocent people of Chechnya and other places alike.......

They can protest, demand a change in its governments treatment of those innocent people being killed around the area occupied/controlled by Russia. Now if we go by the logic that some Indian members have here, and not kill Russians, alike, then Russia may as well just nuke Chechnya, because they are not going to respond now are they, because that will mean killing innocent people......Pakistan should keep that in mind when going to any war with India, nuke them....clearly the Indians won't nuke back as innocent people will die.

MY POINT ABOVE IS NOT ANSWERED.....WHAT CRIEM DID THESE PEOPLE COMMIT

And Jana, please don't drag the woes of Chechens into all this!! There is no call for justifying such massacre of innocent civilians. These terrorists are animals. Please read about what happened in Beslan. It was murder of humanity. The Chechens are going to get it this time!!!
The Chechen's have already been ravaged and mutilated by the Russians, who have behaved like a bunch of animals themselves in quelling the separatist movement.

The Chechen's have little to worry about in 'getting it this time', they have face plenty already.

Where did you get this from? Georgians have never sat their foot in Chechnya. Including Kalmyks. Cossacks are new comers to the region as whole. Kalmyks live in Kalmykia to north of Dagestan, and they are a Mongol people who settled at north of Caspian Sea from Mongolia.

Chechens are native of that land.

Al Qaeda’s Chechen hand in Moscow blasts?
Sri Lanka Guardian: Al Qaeda’s Chechen hand in Moscow blasts?
By B.Raman

(March 29, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) "Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan have been closely monitoring the activities of various pro-Al Qaeda groups operating in Xinjiang, the Central Asian Republics (CARs), Chechnya and Dagestan in Russia. Recent reports indicate that the Uzbecks, Chechens and Uighurs trained in Al Qaeda training camps in North Waziristan have started moving towards their home bases in order to step up their jihad against the Governments of these countries and to disrupt the movement of logistic supplies to the US and other NATO troops through their territory. It is the assessment of well-informed Pakistani Police sources in the Pashtun areas that during the last two weeks there has been a decrease in the activities of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan because trained TTP elements have been moving into Afghanistan to help the Afghan Taliban in its operations against the US-UK offensive in the Helmand province of Afghanistan. The TTP cadres are going in replacement of the Uighurs, Uzbeks and Chechens who are being moved towards Central Asia, Xinjiang and Chechnya. This also suits the Pakistan Army since it relieves pressure on it. An upsurge in acts of terrorism in this region is apprehended. Russia cannot afford to be complacent over the situation in Chechnya and Dagestan. As the fighting in Afghanistan escalates, reprisal attacks by Al Qaeda and pro-Al Qaeda organisations in areas such as South-East, South and Central Asia and in the Muslim majority regions of Russia is a possibility to be reckoned with. " ---- Extract from my article of August 4,2009, titled " Pro-Al Qaeda Elements Regrouping For Fresh Strikes " at ( Click here)

The CNN TV channel of the US has reported that a Web site associated with Chechen separatists has claimed responsibility for the two explosions in two subway stations of Central Moscow on the morning of March 29,2010, which resulted in the death of at least 37 persons. While the authenticity of the claim is yet to be established, jihadi terrorists from Chechnya trained in the past by Al Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban had till 2004 exhibited a capability for mass casualty suicide or suicidal terrorism in the heart of Moscow.

A month before the Madrid blasts of March 2004 by pro-Al Qaeda elements, pro-Al Qaeda Chechens had killed 39 persons by planting an improvised explosive device (IED) in a Moscow Metro station . This was followed by a suspected suicide bombing in the Moscow Metro in August 2004 in which 10 persons died. In November 2004, a Chechen-trained jihadi group from the Caucasian region of Russia planted an IED in an inter-city train from Moscow to St.Petersburg killing 29 persons.

While the Russian authorities had claimed to have neutralised the jihadi groups operating in Chechnya and restored normalcy there, Chechens of Afghanistan vintage operating from sanctuaries in the North Waziristan area of Pakistan had maintained their capability for acts of terrorism. Many of them work as instructors in the training camps of different pro-Al Qaeda organisations in the North Waziristan area, including in the training camps of the anti-Shia Lashkar-e-Jhangvi,the so-called 313 Brigade of Ilyas Kashmiri, one of the handling officers of David Coleman Headley of the Chicago cell of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET), and the islamic Jihad Union (IJU) also known as the Islamic Jihad Group (IJG), a splinter group of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU).

Since the Uighur uprising in the Xinjiang province of China in July,2009, there were reports from reliable sources that Al Qaeda and its associates have been targeting Russia and the Central Asian Republics as a reprisal for their agreement to allow logistic supplies for the NATO forces in Afghanistan to move through their territory.

The Chechens---- the pro-Al Qaeda jihadis as well as separatists not associated with Al Qaeda-- have also been wanting to prove wrong Russian security agencies, which have been claiming to have crushed the Chechen separatists and restored normalcy in Chechnya. But reports from the Caucasian region of Russia have been indicating that jihadi terrorists continue to be active in the Ingushetia region. In February, at least 20 insurgents were reportedly killed in an operation by Russian security forces in Ingushetia.

Many Chechens work as security guards and manual labour in the commercial establishments of Moscow. Often, pro-Al Qaeda Chechens use them for creating sleeper cells in Moscow.

If it is established that pro-Al Qaeda Chechens have staged a come-back by organising the two suicide explosions of March 29,2010, in the Moscow Metro, it should be a matter of concern not only to the Russian security agencies, but also to those of the CARs and the Xinjiang province of China. Likelihood of threats to the security of the forthcoming Shanghai Expo from pro-Al Qaeda Chechens or Uighurs or Uzbecks would increase. This has to be factored into in the security drill not only at the Expo, but also in Xinjiang.

Trust people with links to Indian security forces to come up with 'links to Pakistan' within hours of any terrorist attack.

That after all is what these people do for a living while serving in India.
