Deadly explosions on Moscow Metro system

The arguement is whether chechnya is a part of Russia or not? Answer is yes it is a republic of the Russian Federation.

There is no question of divide and conquer. If such terrorist acts are done by the chechen rebels then that has to be crushed by the Russians as simple as that.

Oh Mr Historian can you tell me why did you interfere in others' internal matters? India's support to miscreants of BD, India supporting terrorists in Pakistan, India supporting terrorists in Sri Lanka etc etc.

East Pakistan was a part of Pakistan and than why did you put your *** in the internal issue of Pakistan???

Stop this mere non-sense.

Ohhhhhh, so we now acknowledge that Russia's response will kill civilians, but what,......thats alright yeh, so when the Cechens do it..........no no no no no, thats a problem, becuse they are Muslim and they just cannot do this, only Russians can............well thats the mentality here, claps to you then Sir for clarifying that for us all

Did u even understand what i am saying??

It is, but Russians are foreigners to these lands. They occupied our region during 1800s. And Chechnya didn't got conqured untill 1860!

Secondly, Chechens won the first war during 1990s, and Russians had to sign the pact wich meant partially independence of Chechnya. But Russians violated that agreement by invading Chechnya in 1999. The case is, Russians had signed a peace pact, not a ceasefire.

Originally the chechens were called nakhs and practiced Vainakh (pagan beliefs). Then the georgians converted few of the nakhs to christianity.

Then the mongols and turks settled with little success as by that time mongol empire had weakened.

Then the conquest of chechnya by Ivan the Terrible in the 16th century.

Then came the persian and turkish invasions and since then there has always been conflict, but the russians did not let go of chechnya, due to its vast natural resources.

Ok, does that apply to Pakistan as well? close to 40,000 people have died in Pakistan since 2001, so should Pakistan end its 'brutal occupation' of FATA and Balochistan?

Your problem is that you see everything in a religious context, you can't condemn terrorism for what it is simply because muslims are committing these heinous acts, yet you cry for sympathy/aid when Pakistan is targeted by similar extremist outfits.

May god bless the innocent victims.

Sir, on the contrary, I condemn terrorism as a whole.....like the Indian state sponsored terrorism whereby genocide has been committed.......

"Brutal occupation"........errrrr hello......Earth calling spitfire, may wish to land from cloud 9....its effecting your chemistry........FATA and Balochistan have always been part of Pakistan since Independance of 1947 where the then rulers, the British split the country......Kashmir, has been a leftover, unfiinished DISPUTE,.....but we are here to discuss Russia

Oh very clearly, did you understand me?????????? clearly not, so please get back to answering the question at hand.......if I had killed your family what will you do???????????????????????? The thnk about those Chechens if you had a shred of decency and heart left in you......not side with one justified murder and atrocity to condemn another

2 wrongs dont make a right. Heavy handedness will only result in tit-for-tat attacks.

Look at the iok example --namely Sri Nagar.

Some people have suggested that the Russian response will be disproportionate and barbaric - history, of Russian/Soviet actions in Afghanistan and Chechnya certainly suggests that it will be barbaric and disproportionate. But has such a response really resolved the issues in the long term?

The russian response should be the way the PA are hunting down the TTP thugs.

Such a response wont solve the issue in the long term. Eg. inspite of major success by PA still we hear about bombings by TTP.

But you also must realize that this incident of bombing in russia happened after a long time. I guess another dose of medicine is needed by the chechens rebels from the Russian army.

India has occupied Kashmir, USA has occupied Afghanistan and Iraq, Russia has occupied Chechnya but Pakistan is doing the clean-up of others' caused mess.

So no hypocracy.

I can as easily say..

Pakistan created these terrorists to create maheym in India and Afghanistan and when US forced it to withdraw support by threatning it with "will bomb you to stone age", they hit back..

Its an unsubstantiated opinion, just like yours...

Sir.. Very easy to say reap what you sow.. Can be applied as insensitively to Pakistan as well..

So when you say RIP to those who died and qualify it with Its russia's fault anyway, you are anyway showing the lack of sincerety in your RIP wishes...

Issues can only be resolved by bringing both the parties to the negotiation table.Acts like these will be of no use.

First, US and Allies, created these terrorists and by that time all, even India referred to them as Mujahidin. Pakistan helped them as frontline for her own survival from USSR's policy to reach Hot Waters.

When we say Russia's fault, we say Russian Government and Administration which makes a policy. We have sincerety in condolance with Russian people but also advice Russian Admin to review their policies.
