Agreed. These f**ks belongs to an ideology that is a tiny minority in Pakistan. The problem is this small minority controls our media (electronic and print) and most of our bureaucracy because of that colonial era CSS exams.

Do away with the Colonial era exams, everything in the native language, and open these jobs for everybody in the country. As per every other country in the world.

So in FATA were they fighting for religious freedom or freedom to secure smuggling routes in/out Afghanistan? Blaming the Mullahs is just popular rhetoric specially given the fact that everything was fine there till Pakistani government decided to secure it by sending the forces in 2005.

As i gather Mullahs predated any trouble in FATA region and Muslims there living are generally conservative more so than other parts of the country.

When you are reading the title of this News in traitor Media Dawn and The News. you are not getting positive vibes from their reporting. We are not sure what is the motive behind it but both News Media using the reproachful expression for our Army which is not the acceptable expression of language from reporting Editor & Author. period.

Mullahs have always been a problem in Fata even before the rise of Taliban,if you have read the history of Fata majority of the uprisings were started by Mullahs however after their rise they joined hands and literally fucked our lives,there came a point where they were even demanding each family to atleast provide one man for their cause.

Well it all started with the Russian invasion of Afghanistan so we can keep tracing it back to one event or the another.
Fact remains most of the people in that region are inherently religious and conservative. So the clergy would always have some sort of influence but hopefully with its merger with Pakistan proper, the process of mainstreaming will be smoother.

Once again i would not blame the Mullahs solely for what happened there. That part has been playing malcolm in the middle for quite long in South Asias struggle with cold war and socialism and communism.
