I mean what is the sensor package used for target acquisition and tracking (beyond the missile itself).

I have read it is ELTA 2084 AESA...I was wondering about this AESA's performance for intercepting close to ground targets like cruise missiles. David Sling missile performance is not in question here.

The article says it is middle to long range, so minimum will be around 50km?

40 km, but Iron Dome/Iron Beam will take care of such low range missiles
