You can always kick the hornet's nest, issue is what happens to you after kicking it.

Dams are large structure, weak against large explosion and store water, so yes there will be lots of kind of weapons that will break them.

But then, it is true for any nation's dams, including attacker's.

4 GB-6 gluide bomb 2 raad ALCM with few decoys and work done. :)

Very pertinent question to ask - the dam was built over the past 8 years right under the watch of Pakistani Army posts on the Northern edge of the dam (aligned North-South. The Pakistani posts have line of sight to the dam and construction activities, more like first row seats to a match). Why didn't Pakistan Army do anything?

Anyone, any answers?:coffee:

Answer lies the inherent incompetence of target audience's ability comprehend the simple language of a treaty under which all of the dams on the Indian side have been built all the while ignoring that simple fact that they are the biggest beneficiary of the Indian action of not even utilizing the rivers it got for it's own use under the treaty.

Coz Pakistan army is a lot smarter than the average thread poster here?

it is apparent that indian trolls are having fits and are resorting to circle jerking on this thread .

1. dams HAVE BEEN attacked in the past being a strategic asset . in our case, it is a matter of survival . all geniuses claiming it is stupid or it will flood the downstream are please requested to provide an alternative when one is dying from thirst

2. indians are in OPEN violation of IWT design limits put on their 20 % quota. this is an undisputed fact. knowing the hindu mindset, this creature will only understand violence and force, not negotiations. infact, indians will only waste our time in negotiations

3. pakistan is set to have 6-7 percent sustained growth in the next 5 years. with diminishing water reserves and indias water theft , would that be possible with sinking water tables ?

Very true @Nilgiri

Poor soldier on the front lines will tell each and everyone of our 'King Kongs' to come and spend a week (let alone the tenure before rotation) and then talk ;)

PA can do naught because their legal position is so precarious over IWT and over J&K itself :) But then, they also need compliant & blind green chaddis to ensure their own myths :)

And look, how certain members obliquely are hinting at military operations carried out to remove dams. While they are right, but every dam they strike on Indian side will affect their DCBs downwards, so remains counter-productive
:)
