Darbhanga: A Dalit woman was allegedly beaten up and forced to drink her urine by four men after branding her as a "witch" at Pipra village in Bihar's Darbhanga district, police said on Saturday. Four persons beat up a Dalit woman and subsequently forced her to drink her urine on Thursday for allegedly practising witchcraft, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Anjani Kumar said.
The woman left the village after the incident, the SDPO said, adding that she lodged an FIR on Friday. The incident occurred after some children of the village fell ill and some locals believed that it might be the result of witchcraft allegedly practised by the woman, he said.

A similar incident took place on 22nd July when two Dalit youths were badly beaten and urinated upon by some men allegedly for stealing a motorcycle in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, according to a FIR filed by the mother of one of the victims.

The incident took place at Babutola under Paru block in Muzaffarpur district on 20th July night when the two Dalit youths went to attend a rural fair during the ongoing Annapurna-Mahayagya festival, said the first information report (FIR) filed by Sunita Devi.

. . .
Congrats you found it finaly.
Your todays dose of dalit thread.

. .
Your comments why Indian don't consider Dalits human being why they always kill and torture peaceful poorest people of India.

Actually, Indians do. A few, religious bigots like the inhabitants of a neighbouring country, don't. They remind me about the people who threw a Christian couple into a fire, the woman being pregnant, for insulting their holy book.

Please dont tag me.

I have not given you my consent to tag me.

Oh she/he tags on general principles: if you aren't against her/him, you are for her/him. Very peculiar thinking, but reading this member's posts reveals such thinking almost in every post. Possibly a pointer to an unhappy home life.

Had quite a few taggings today..after he/she/multipleID/SingleID/whoever opened a few threads.

I dont know why he/she needs my opinion...

Felt like clapping hands and grabbing attention for some "show".

What to post, where to post and when to post is solely my decision...and it seems he/she wants our attention and to tag a few mods after irritating us for quite some time which is quite easy to learn if a member has spend some quality time inside the forum.

Anyway , let it go...

More than a little disturbed psychiatrically, if you ask me. Pathological obsession with publicity, self-publicity.

That would be dishonest considering the treatment Dalits get in India.
