Dalai Lama says Chinese hardliners have parts of brain missing

. . .
I do hope that, in the near future, Chinese leaders come to their senses and initiate a dialogue with him. This back-and-forth quarrel is childish and unproductive to either side.
Exactly!! This is getting way out if hand...he is 85 now....if dies and there is no new lama...all the hell will break lose...you can deny people anything and still control control them...but you take away their religion and belief...then they will be unstoppable!!
I hope China is sane enough!!

They were stopped when Dalai Lama called for armed uprising.

I don't think "all hell would break loose", but engaging in a conversation with such a leader would be sensible. It adds credence to China's claims of libertarian reforms and at the same time Tibetans would be much pleased.

By Buddhist tradition Dalai Lama chooses a panchen lama and vice a versa....dalai lama has already chosen panchen and Chinese have abducted him....they simply want to destroy Buddhism and destroy the social fabric of Tibet...so they can expolit the people and resources of Tibet!!

If Panchan Lama is physically abducted then from a neutral point of view, Dalai Lama is also being mentally abducted by other forces otherwise, would have settled the matter with the concerned authority rather than being played by other countries especially when subject was China. Such blame game or accusations wouldn't solve the problem and Dalai Lama has to take a step towards resolution if really want to.

Also, providing home to other's separatists means other start to host Indian separatists as such, this precedent will not end in good for the region in the end. Countries sovereignty must be respected and disputed issues be kept aside as such same should not be exploited for impossible gain.

Erroneous.India has recognised Tibet as part of China decades ago so no question of providing home to separatists. He has merely been granted political asylum and in fact it is a prerogative of any state to grant asylum to anyone who is deemed persecuted unjustly. Nothing to do with separatism.

The only ground for deporting him back to China is if China says he is a convicted criminal - but mysteriously that has never happened.

Conversation never stopped, though not official. The channel is always open. But there is a fundamental difference that prevents any progress. Dalai Lama wants the autonomous rule over the area where Tibetan Buddhism has major influence. That goes beyond Tibet and into major parts of neighboring provinces. That doesn't seem to fit well with the principle of the state-church separation.

What I'm saying is Chinese leadership should come to their senses and acknowledge that they can't control everything!!!
It's common sense!! If continues in the same path...it may lead to its own peril!!

That's what they want you to believe!!

The case doesn't seem political hence, Chinese complaints.

The Chinese cannot control him since he is living in India. He is free to say whatever he wishes, but all I'm advocating for is open dialogue between him and Beijing.
