Dalai Lama in ‘informal’ talks to return to Tibet

ofcourse, when it comes to education quality : math, engineering, house-cleaning, clothing repair, equal for the entire (huge) country." - religion and cultural education : different per region up to the village level.
was he voted by his people in tibet? where is the west democracy now? he is a religion leader so he is legitimate leader of Tibet? Bullshiit and double standard

the people of tibet seek their re-incarnated leader differently than we seek democratically elected leaders.

i want to express my deepest desires to see this tibetan system of "finding the dalai lama" restored after the current dalai lama's passing away.. autonomy for the win-win!

I personally don't care if you afraid of China or not or having issues with you, you can't do anything except rant on the internet hence no threat.

its good just give him one city for his religious temples and residence like Vatican and case close

In the Chinese affairs of the State, realpolitik overrides any ideology or religion or whatever your country believe in or worship.

Survival of the fittest. Let the most capable take the lead.

Ideology is just another opium to make ruling easier. In some countries where retards are fed with the belief that they got "rights", it is just a masqerade system that let the people divide btw the left & right on petty unimportant issues like abortion and some civil benefits, and fight the heck of out of themselves, while the elite rule just as usual.

I think both side will find the future Dalai Lama.

I do believe, there will be two Dalai Lamas.

Both will claim their Dalai Lama is the true, while the other is the fake one.

Dalai left with the nobles as a kid. That was a reasonable option for his class. No one could foresee the political trends half a century in advance.

But still, being under age at that time does give him an option of a second choice.

Once saw a BBC series that a dude toured across the SA places. A short scene was with Dalai and to my frustration that those Tibetans behave really humble, or fearful, or both, in front of Dalai after all these years. IMO I hope the hierarchical religion to be completely undone.

What???

I think most of mainlander here are heavily brainwashed.

I don't think Dalai Lama is that bad, almost all people in Taiwan respect him.

The bad people in exile Tibetan are those who work for the CIA.

They just borrow Dalai Lama name to create chaos in China as well as separatism.

And these people will prefer to stay in India, or if they choose to come back to Tibet, they will lead a mass occupy protest like in HK right now, kind of CIA trojan horse.

There will be no peaceful day in Tibet and unrest will happen everyday.

Not because of Tibet nor Dalai Lama, but because of democracy, aka CIA.

We do not even know this person,He does not waste resources for what brainwashing.Stars need to improve visibility,Moreover, he even stars are not.

No matter what the future of that thing , which hinder Chinese people to make money which is false.Tibet is not going to want to return to slave society.

shuut up.. or we pound your head in! yea, that's what you mainlander Chinese are good at. Or rather, THINK you're good at.

look, you oppress the regions i designated as in need of autonomy (Tibet, Hong Kong, Taiwan), you let outsiders (like the USA and Russia and Pakistan and India and Australia, for all i know) dictate how the world perceives the leadership in Beijing.

You give those regions the autonomy they deserve, as described earlier by me in this thread, you pre-empt such divide-and-conquer/contain by other (super)powers on earth. It's that simple.

After all he is Chinese as well as all the Tibetan people live in China and abroad. It's really a tragedy that a Chinese people is not allowed to reture to his homeland in the rest of his life.

Cho-sid-nyi was a dual system of government that was used in Tibet prior to 1950s. The system distributed its powers between its religious institution and political institution, which was unified by a single spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.

Many Lamas and Tibetan Buddhists believes in the legend of the mythical Kingdom of Shambhala (a pure land of peace, happiness and tranquility). Therefore, this concept may be perceived as the ideal model for the Lamas as the supreme system of government for Tibetan.

We will never see Tibet achieve this system of government if Tibet is leaderless.

Through China's past History, the country of Tibet was always been respected and viewed as a spiritual and moral guidance for China's Emperors.

Thubten Gyatso, The 13th Dalai Lama's prophecy before dying below:

"Very soon in this land (with a harmonious blend of religion and politics) deceptive acts may occur from without and within. At that time, if we do not dare to protect our territory, our spiritual personalities including the Victorious Father and Son (Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama) may be exterminated without trace, the property and authority of our Lakangs (residences of reincarnated lamas) and monks may be taken away. Moreover, our political system, developed by the Three Great Dharma Kings (Tri Songtsen Gampo, Tri Songdetsen and Tri Ralpachen) will vanish without anything remaining. The property of all people, high and low, will be seized and the people forced to become slaves. All living beings will have to endure endless days of suffering and will be stricken with fear. Such a time will come."

Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, The 11th Panchen Lama, one of Tibetan most important spiritual leader was taken away by the Chinese authorities since age six in 1995 and has not been seen or heard of since. China authorities installed their own Panchen Lama for Tibet.

Furthermore, The Dalai Lamas can be said to represent the spiritual mentality of pre-industrialized East Asian cultures, while Confucians' philosophies characterizes the social and ethical mentality of East Asian.

The return of the 14th Dalai Lama would only be a win-win situation for both China and Tibetan.

An insignificant person,No use value puppet. How the United States will deal with ?He wants to be pope Tibet.Unfortunately, without his position. Now he is worthless.Nobody knows strangers.

Agree, Dalai Lama is a Chinese too.

The main problem will be the CIA's trojan horse among his returnee followers, that will wreck havoc Tibet. They will organize an occupy movement like those in HK.

I read a report, a lot of Tibetan in Dharmasala want to return to China. Many of who deflected from China recently, regret with their decision, as they call it as being fooled by CIA agent.

CIA agent told them, that Dharmasala is a paradise on earth unlike China's Tibet shithole. High standard of living, a very beautiful place, very developed, Tibetan culture preserved, total freedom, people are happy, etc. The reality is not what they imagine, they are very regret now.

Does it mean if Dalai Lama return to China and give him a power to rule, Tibet will be a better place? I don't think so. Indian government give him right to rule Dharmasala, but he didn't rule it well. I don't know what he can do in China, except of empty slogans and utopia dream promises, as what democracy politicians always do. Fooled fool people.

Definitely is a win-win situation...

If US didn't use this opportunity to plant trojan-horse, full of CIA's trained exiled Tibetan in Dharmasala.

I heard, CCP was planned to invite Dalai Lama back to Tibet in 1980, but scraped the idea later after seeing what exiled Tibetan have became.

@Kolaps Just because democracy isn't perfect, doesn't mean the Chinese system of government is superior to democracy.

For all intents and purposes, China is at the moment a dictatorship run from Beijing with plenty of capitalist flaws added.

You Chinese just shouldn't oppress and use other peoples in Evil ways like the other superpowers have done. You should learn from the other superpowers mistakes and successes. It's your karmatic obligation as a new superpower.
