CZ TSR (Tactical Sniper Rifle) is one of the latest tactical rifles made by the renown Czech firearmsmanufacturer. This rifle is designed from the ground up and it will replace the CZ 750 S1 M1 in the company’s product line. CZ brought the TSR rifle to IWA 2018 and DSA 2018 arms exhibitions.
The CZ TSR rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester. It has a 26″ barrel with a 1:11″ twist rate. According to the company, the designing process of the rifle was based on the feedback and suggestions from the military personnel who use such weapons. The company also positions this rifle primarily for the militarymarket.
CZ has conducted extensive durability tests which allow them to guarantee 10,000 rounds of barrel life. The company also claims that the TSR rifle is highly accurate and retains accuracy for an extended period of time even with the use of factory ammunition. CZ states 1 MOA accuracy for this rifle.
The length of pull, as well as the cheek rest and buttpad heights are adjustable. The stock also features a bottom Picatinny rail section for mounting monopods. The stock is folding and can be configured to fold to either side of the rifle depending on the user’s preferences. The rifle also has an adjustable trigger. The bolt is fluted and has a bent bolt handle.
The TSR rifle is fed from detachable box magazines that are completely covered by the magazine well. The rifle has a long top Picatinny rail and a rail section at the bottom portion of the forearm. The users can also attach rails on the sides of the handguard. The barrel of CZ TSR rifle is free floated and equipped with a three-port muzzle brake.
