Crypto markets crashing, anyone lost money in Luna?

.
Are we supposed to feel bad that some greedy gambler put their 'medical treatment' money in crypto?

Japan property values crashed by up to 90%.
Nothing is guaranteed.

ooh, good time to look at apartments in Tokyo.

Luna was a good project but unfortunately, Terra's UST fudge caused all this. In order to save their stable coin they rugged Luna, and no wonder if it has gone down the gutter. In fact, I spent $20 at $0.05 lol but I think it is worth even less than Shib inu now.

Now, it has been delisted from all major exchanges. Crypto is a new unregulated space and it will see this kind of stuff. Just like you see many good Unicorn businesses die within a couple of years crypto isn't any different.

However, I'd recommend only investing in blue chips Cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Matic, and Solana. For people saying Crypto is dead, this will be the third great crash I'll be witnessing and I literally did not sell a single coin. I did lose some money on leverage trading but it is part of it.
For me I only trust Bitcoin and Ethereum for long term investments and XRP, Maker and Cardano for medium term investments. Everything else can be disappeared overnight after the fall of Luna. Even Cardano I am not sure anymore after witnessing what happened with Luna.

I had bought 14,500 Luna for about 3p for roughly around £450. Then I bought equal number of Lunas for £25 after an hour or so… what a shame

In total I raised the portfolio to 100,000 as it was dirt cheap for £20-30 for 14,500 which was the maximum limit on Crypto.com platform in single transaction. If I hadn’t bought first transaction of 14,500 for £450 then in total my investment wouldn’t have been more than £100. But I am ok as it was still not a big money and I have earned a lot more in the past so I was willing to take a risk

To cut these maths in simple numbers I now have 100,000 Lunas for less than 1p.. may be 0.006p and my current account balance shows that I have not made any loss yet with current price but can’t sell anymore

The good news is With 100,000 Lunas you are now a Luna Whale :) but since every Tom Dick and Harry started shorting it had no chance of recovery and the inevitable happened delisted from all exchanges. True, I lost more than $1,400 on leverage trading. It is part of the game. You lose some, you make some.

I have never traded stocks but want to.

Can you point out a platform where one can buy without being a US resident?
I would advise you look at ETFs as a pool vs single stock unless you know for sure this is good value.

I had bought a lot of oil ETFs two yrs back when entire oil market went into the red as well as fertiliser stock.

I never looked into Oil ETFs, certainly was a good move during the Pandemic and now due to the Russian invasion. How is your portfolio doing now? :)
