Legislation needs to be enacted to standardize training of handling small arms to all students in govt and private schools. Training must start on yearly basis of all students above standard class 9th and must continue uptil college and universities, moreover physical self defence training must be compulsary over standard class 6th. Another aspect of this training must be loyalty, patriotism and adherence to the state of Pakistan. This needs to be done on an urgent basis and applied in all four provinces of Pakistan to create a vigilant nation that could fight on every street corner, every roof and every field of our great homeland. The enemy has taken the fight to our streets and homes in his utter cowardice, barbarism and hence every Pakistani thier dogs encounter here must be a perfect potrayal of the eternal bravery Allah has bestowed on this mighty and resilient nation. As in the historical words of Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa, "every Pakistani is a soldier of Rad al Fasad".Be aware this war has not finished but only just begun and we must prove the words of Jinnah in the future as we have done in the past " No power on earth can undo Pakistan". He was not talking about the land but the people, we the people are the one's that cannot be undone, Allah willing.

Although, Maybe something like regional militias staffed by veterans and former law-enforcement could work.

Pakistan should do it, look at Russia they do mandatory military service. Kids learn to fire ak47 and maintain it etc. We should include a nation building exercise too which would be like helping locals with chores like chopping trees, road clearing building, helping locals build school etc.
We have more ideas than western world but it is our idiot leaders who want to be sardar a ss heads.

You think a terrorist trained by the government has the same threat as a terrorist trained by other terrorists? No the government trained one is far more dangerous, for one they have access to modern strategy, tactics, and techniques, as well as equipment given to them. They would also have knowledge of other things, like military installations, key figures, surveillance, as well as local forces strength.

Also what need is there for this kind of mass mobilisation? We have done excellent work in the last 4-5 years utilising an entirely volunteer force. The need of the hour is more funding and defence production for the military, not further draining their budget in risky and inefficient measures like this.

I thunk pak should start with what is the most vulnerable areas that would be invaded by foreign enemy? . for example is punjab number one target? is it azad Kashmir? etc.

Take look at yemen everyone has a gun that why Saudis cant take over

russia trains it citizens up that why USA is very quiet.
Chechen train their kids to do hardcore contact sports and gun training.
our lot train us to be kebab maker and chutia.

Pak can use this, training to its advantage by using the available man power to help locals with chores like clearing roads/ buildings schools so it not only gun training /survival etc but also nation building and country gets back it resources through labour work.
