Legislation needs to be enacted to standardize training of handling small arms to all students in govt and private schools. Training must start on yearly basis of all students above standard class 9th and must continue uptil college and universities, moreover physical self defence training must be compulsary over standard class 6th. Another aspect of this training must be loyalty, patriotism and adherence to the state of Pakistan. This needs to be done on an urgent basis and applied in all four provinces of Pakistan to create a vigilant nation that could fight on every street corner, every roof and every field of our great homeland. The enemy has taken the fight to our streets and homes in his utter cowardice, barbarism and hence every Pakistani thier dogs encounter here must be a perfect potrayal of the eternal bravery Allah has bestowed on this mighty and resilient nation. As in the historical words of Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa, "every Pakistani is a soldier of Rad al Fasad".Be aware this war has not finished but only just begun and we must prove the words of Jinnah in the future as we have done in the past " No power on earth can undo Pakistan". He was not talking about the land but the people, we the people are the one's that cannot be undone, Allah willing.
No, just no!
There is a saying: A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Teaching people first aid, fire safety and civil defence is one thing. But actual military training and unarmed combat is just unnecessary. The reasons are multiple, what if this highly trained civilian goes nuts, gets a gun and decides to pull a columbine?
Who would vet these students? Do they have anti-state/extremist affiliations?
What is to stop them using said training against innocent civilians?
Pistol and Rifle training needs re certification every six months, who will pay for this?
Every year 16,500 people die and a further 160,000 are injured or disabled as a result of home fires, road traffic accident fatalities account for a loss of 15 people every day in Pakistan:

Conclusion, you are more likely to die from a house fire or car crash because of lack of safety and trained first aiders than you are to die from an act of terrorism. Therefore it is prudent to teach children and adults about first aid, fire safety and basic safety and security, but none of this bullshit military type training.
As pointed out by the Indian member above me, such training may be useful for small countries such as South Korea, Israel, Finland etc. But Pakistan has a large, professional and disciplined volunteer army to defend our borders!
