: Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Walid A.M. Abu Ali on Tuesday said potential exists for increased trade between both the brotherly Islamic countries.


He said that Pakistani and Palestinians are part of a family and we are highly grateful to continued support of Pakistan.

Palestinian Ambassador Walid A.M. Abu Ali said this while speaking to the business community at FPCCI Capital House on International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people.

He said that both the countries can improve trade through a third country like China, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey. We need to focus on developing bilateral trade cooperation to create better economic opportunities for the people, he added.

The Ambassador said that the two countries should try best to expand the existing political cooperation into other areas including economy, agriculture, banking, education and social and cultural sectors.

He expressed thanks to the government and people of Pakistan for always providing unflinching support to the just cause of people of Palestine for their right to self-determination.

He said that CPEC is a great project which will change the fate of Pakistan and provide it a better place of the economic map of the world.

AT the occasion, President FPCCI Abdul Rauf Alam reiterated the commitment of Pakistani people and government for an independent homeland for Palestinian.
