Moronic reply! What I've written is from your own media discussions with economists and experts on the subject who have gone through this project with a toothcomb.Must be your vedic upbringing which has resulted in this utter retardation.
CPEC is causing infrastructure development. Road, rail, energy projects, business parks, airports = more commerce = more jobs. Its a kickstarter for Pakistan and at the same time helps out a neighbor to make their life easier.
Ok. But Gwadar port has been leased out to China for 40 years! So what's in it for you?
The bottom line is that the CPEC is for the Chinese, of the Chinese, by the Chinese. Pakistan is just a bit player in this project. Out of the $45 billion, $11 billion is a loan to Pakistan for road construction which it'll have to pay back to China in 15 years!
How much will the ordinary Pakistani be paying for electricity from coal fired plants being made by Chinese private companies who themselves would be borrowing from Chinese banks? Pakistani analysts themselves have calculated the tariff to be Rs 18 per unit to be paid to these companies! Wow!
Cost of transportation on the motorway from Lahore to Xinjiang? Calculated at Rs 4 Lakhs per 10 ton truck, it is going to be almost unviable for the type of low value goods that would be exported from Pakistan with profit margins close to zilch!!
The only redeeming feature would be the gas pipelines - probably.

Stupid argument as usual. There seem to be some real nut cases out here on PDF.No, Pakistan should remain the Africa of Asia, is that it? This can kickstart many things in Pakistan, from economic growth, to stability and security. Pakistan doesn't even have enough ENERGY to keep the lights on, while it's surrounded by gas and oil producing countries. Pakistan doesn't have the ability to build ports and modern rail lines, nor does it have the money. So when a big friend China comes in and helps Pakistan, they should grap that oppurtunity with THREE hands. Instead, some idiot like you comes and bad mouths the entire project. Now that's silly.

Are the Chinese doing this for free? Are they gifting $45 billion to their deeper than the ocean friends? Simple answer - NO! They ain't stupid. They are businessmen first. The infrastructure is going to be put up by Chinese private companies from loans taken from China's central bank as well as a consortium of private banks. Do you think these private companies are going to give you freebies? They will need to pay back their loans to these banks within 15 years.
So, you will be paying for every brick and every watt of electricity they produce for you! Get that straight. And avoid such silly posts that make you look like an imbecile who knows squat.
Do Pakistani contractors have the ability to build these things? NO. Do Pakistani banks have the money for it? NO. Does the Pakistani government? NO. Does Pakistan have the vision and competence to pull it off? NO.
Change Pakistan to China and all the answers become YES.
This isn't a post to piss on Pakistan. It's just the way it is. And with foreign help, Pakistan can become all those things. It just needs a kickstart. China isn't altrustic, we know. But Pakistan is VITAL for Chinese interest. So indeed, this is NOT all about 'making money and profits' for China. China is visionary and looks at things long term. They want a stable and prosperous Pakistan, and they want a new energy route through the Pakistani ports.
And finally, China subsidized these things. They write off MANY loans to many countries.
You're just a pathetic, sore *** loser.
Brother anything positive Pakistan is doing really hurts our enemies and they will look at all the micro faults or potential faults just to make themselves feel better. Let the ugly dogs cry and bark as much as they want. Let them worry about their own problems and faults.
Don't listen to the so called "pessimistic" Pakistani experts also. They will always be unnecessarily critical but will never do anything positive for Pakistan but envy anyone who does.
These so called experts also said Pakistan should'nt or does'nt have nuclear weapons and that we should give them up. Never ever listen to them.
CPEC is Pakistan's biggest economic boast/opportunity since our inception regardless of what anyone says or thinks.

Really? And what happened to Chinese 'investment' and trade with Pakistan amounting to $30 billion that then Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao promised in 2010???!! In fact 21 MOUs were signed! WTF happened to them? Gone with the wind! Nothing seen, nothing heard!CPEC is Pakistan's biggest economic boast/opportunity since our inception regardless of what anyone says or thinks.
Of course for you guys, some of those Hurriyat sods in Kashmir are 'freedom fighters', right? For us they are a bunch of mercenary terrorists aided and supported by the Establishment.Freedom fighters!
Shall i say more?
Anyway, if you sometime feel you can actual talk about this in a positive manner let me know, till then, carry on with the childish self-pleasing sarcasm. For now, you can educate yourself and Google it. The reasons are plently and are all understandable to a sane mind.

What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander too!
The same old broken record of Indian involvement in Balochistan!!EXACTLY
That is not the first time someone have said that. One mans terrorist is other mans freedom fighter. Unfortunately for you, it will work both way, that is if we are talking on some sort of logic.
As for the comparison, coming back to the main point, you just compared Kashmir freedom fighters with BLA terrorists, no do i need to say anything else about Indian involved in Baluchistan?
The same old broken record of Indian involvement in Balochistan!!
You have NO PROOF!
Otherwise show it.
