Cow Killed in Shocking Act of Bestiality -The New Indian Express

In a shocking incident of bestiality, a cow was ‘raped’ and killed at a farm located in Valaiyapatti near here. The cow owned by 60-year-old farmer Alagudurai, a resident of Kurumbapatti Road in Valaiyapatti, was missing since Sunday.
The farmer realised it early on Monday when a milk vendor approached him for milk. Alagudurai and his relatives searched for the cow and were shocked to find the animal dead with a blood clot in its rectum and two of its teats cut off.
The villagers suspected that labourers hailing from the northern part of the country, employed at a nearby agro products unit, could be behind the crime.
Kanthasamy, a farmer, said “We found some labourers loitering around the place. The police must take action against the culprits.”
A post-mortem was conducted, which revealed that the cow was raped.
“The uterus was ruptured and blood had clotted. The rectum had come out. The entire vaginal cavity and rectum were also ruptured. It is a clear case of bestiality,” Dr S V Sivaseelan, Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, Veterinary College and Research Institute, here, told Express.
A blood-stained jeans pant and an empty cold drinks bottle were found lying beside the cow.
Mohanur police registered an FIR under section 429 of the IPC. They also quizzed the labourers employed in the agro products firm. “They denied having committed any such offence,” a police officer said.
