People forget that that this is a "respirator" and not a mask. It is meant to be used in a professional setting and fit tested for "positive and negative pressure".

A good N95 fit is meant to make it difficult to breath, that is the whole point. It's a massive filter on your face, if you find it very easy to breathe with a respirator on your face, you are not wearing it properly and hence are not protected.

Spirometry is a lung function test, it's very easy for your doctor to do.

there are so many studies opposing each other. but if today you see the map of the world and the spread of epidemic it will be very clear that the virus is causing more fataliites in cooler climates rather then warmer regions. ME, subcontinent, africa, australia are reporting lesser deaths than europe, china and USA.

Another reason you are seeing less cases and deaths in that part of the world is due to the lack of testing... I agree with you regarding the article published in the New Scientist Magazine last week, but in a recent article an disease expert said "It's unreasonable, I think, at this point to expect that the virus will quote-on-quote disappear during our summer months," said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, who was not part of the study. Still, "I think it might give us a little bit of hope," Schaffner said.

i have a relative in kuwait and they are carrying out extensive tests and strict curfew is imposed. you can check yourself that their total cases are very less and have not reported a single death due to corona by the grace of Allah. health experts there are closely monitoring the results and studying the genome of the virus and they are seeing that the virus strain is less virulent then the one which emerged in iran. even our own experts are saying that the virus spreading in pak has different genome and less virulent. there are many factors but no one is ruling out weather condition.

Answer me this, if you dont test someone how can you know the dead person died of pneumonia or COVID. This is why your post makes no scientific sense.

oo bhae. do you know how many deaths daily take place in pak due to respiratory illnesses? they are in hundreds. TB, pneumonia, COPD, lung cancer are taking lives daily and that is routine. go to ICU of any hospital in pak and you will find half of the beds occupied by terminal pateints due to respiratory illnesses and many of them die. they are labelled as community acquired pneumonia or atypical pneumonia and no further tests are carried out. in most of these cases the disease starts initially due to a seasonal flu which causes damages in lung tissue and the bacteria take over from there and cause peumonia and the patient dies. no tests are carried out to find out the initial trigger of the infection in our set up. now we are just doing tests of the patients to find out the initial trigger. but so far no where in pak any hospital has reported that they are receiving a huge lot of patients with respiratory illness which they were not seeing before. if we take this corona out of our minds then death rate in pak due to respiratory illnesses is same as it was few months back

so deaths due to respiratory illnesses is a routine in every country. the west and china have seen a surge in the cases of deaths due to respiratory illnesses and most of the countries in subcontinent , ME, austalia and africa are not facing such death rates. this is a fact no one can deny.
so the only little point you are unable to understand is that have you seen an unusal surge in death rates due to respiratory illness in subcontinent, most of the ME, australia and africa?? the answer is NO. for the europe, US and china the answer is a big YES.
