For the love of Prophet you dont have to put down a boy of just 20 all through his entire life in jail for tearing down a poster just to show how much you love Prophet.

It looks like you hate others more than you actually love him.

Well its for our courts to decide - and our courts are not predictable, actually an educated judge would first put a fine on the guy who put a poster on private property

And then even consider the other matter

But then again our courts are ... wel ... you know ... ..reliable as the next general


Poster bazi is big problem in Pakistan graffiti and crap on walls and freshly painted houses etc is well documented on someone else's walls

well i belive judges are quite educated to have understanding of the local law. But how much justified is to have such a law which ruins up life of a 20 year old for tearing down a poster.

One thing i should clearify here, no matter what the western media and Secular extremist say but no one has been hang till this day under this Law. and more than 50% of the cases filed have been against muslims. So all what media and pro western elements claim that this law is specificaly used against minorities is wrong.

so if you are picked up by the law enforcing authorities and kept in custody for years and years(5-7 years) even if found innocent at the end of the day by the supreme court. Would it be OK with you and your family as long as you are not hung?

Dude the thing is that some of these accused are the sole earners of their family and some of the women incarcerated have very young children. So they have duties other than satisfying the sadistic yearnings of the mullah brigade.

No other Muslim country has such laws. Not even Iran or KSA. They may have it in theory, but you never hear anyone being prosecuted for frivolous reasons, like in Pakistan.

Sham laws create Sham cases... its that simple or is that to hard for the feeble minded to understand? Sentencing a 20 year old kid for Life Imprisonment because he tore a poster..... not only is this getting ridiculous its getting outright pathetic and disgraceful to human dignity and intelligence. We probably have by far the worse judges and lawyers in the world.... is this what the restoration of Judges was all about? ....

Aitzaz Ahsan; The blasphemy law (295-C) should remain intact, and if Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer committed any mistake or blasphemy, instead of killing him, he should have been punished him under the law of the country.
