Country badly needs basic facilities

This is a picture of a public transport in Islamabad. Look at the plight of students who are travelling to and from the schools and colleges. These kids are the future of this country. Just imagine, if the transport system is like this, what would be the condition of the education, where these kids go for the education.
Countries who decided to go on the path of development, they work on their basic infrastructure and basic civic facilities. No country can progress without proper civic development.
Pakistan is very behind in these parameters. The worst thing is that no one is paying any attention to these issues.

Anywhere in the world, people will laugh or cry looking at this transport system for the students.

School bus depot in one of the towns in New York. Look at the number of the buses for one town.
Pakistan has to start from somewhere. Just start from public transport. Take off all the scary looking private transport from the big cities. There must be some approving authority, who authorize these buses on the road. The authorization agency must have some basic guidelines,which must be approved every year from the assembly. Just by looking at the basic design of these buses can tell you much the passengers would be in misery while traveling. No bus should be approved and allowed to drive on the roads unless it doesn't have a comfortable seating area. No passengers at the rooftop. No passenger at door stand.
Government should work towards a light train system or fast bus transit system. These are all administrative decisions, any private firm can do it for the country.
Problem with politicians is that they don't want to share any project with anyone. They want all the money in their pockets.

Such dedication to education can only mean the students really value education, plus they get their exercise and fresh air on their way to school, while improving their balance, co-ordination and endurance.

Look at this picture. This is the future of the country at the bus doors and rooftop.
Can you imagine anyone to be Dr Abdul Salam or Dr Abdul Qadeer in this crowd.
This is our manpower. Developed countries are investing in their manpower starting from elementary school to higher education. So that they could give back the country something good.
