Countdown begins for launch of Indian military satellite

Just a note , a very wrong place for a shuttle loaded with "combustable liquid" around trees and forest ....
May be its camera angle...but think about cutting down these tree to make the land barren. its better to have small height vegetation.

This launch pad looks new.

Seems like , for GSLV launches we use different one from the one used in PSLV launches.

Are we using our indigenous Cryo or Russian ??
According to ISRO :
This is the third time the indigenously developed Cryogenic Upper Stage (CUS) is being carried on-board during a GSLV flight.

so, yes it is indigenous Cryo.

What is the purpose of these sheets wrapped around the cryogenic stage ??

Thandi se Bachane k Lie ??

No idea ... I thought it has some reflective capabilities .... to keep the temp of outer shell of CUS within the limit .

May be somebody with knowledge can shed light into it .

Whatever the purpose it looks very amateurish .
