Construction of futuristic aerospace city underway in S China's Hainan

Construction of Wenchang International Aerospace City is underway in south China's Hainan Province. The park is home to the Wenchang Space Launch Site, the only coastal site of its kind in China and from where the Long March 5 rocket blasted off on July 23, 2020, carrying China's Tianwen-1 Mars probe.

Wenchang is the future. New generation rockets are going to move slowly but surely Chinese space program to the coast from the mainland (Xichang etc.)
