What's new

Congratulations Divya.

Actually, on this I will side with Pakistani members here.. Agree that Bharti is used to try and piss some Indian members off, but is way better than what Pakistanis are called on some contemporary Indian forums.. So no probs.. Let the Bharatis roll.. ;)

We do take pride in holding high morals in this forum, name calling alas cheap banter doesn't cost a dime but it depicts a persons derelict thoughts and a bankrupt mind set.... hence, speech is silver but silence is golden. !!

Upper caste and lower caste doesn't matter, poor attempt at flaming

in this particular context, it does matter......i dont even believe in caste system, i think its a backwards and medieval practice. Its against Islam, nonetheless.

Rajput society has been a strongly Patrilineal one, once you stop being identified with your Fathers, you aren't considered a part of his clan and identity thereof. In other words the society does not recognize you as rajputs no longer.

Jutts, Rajputs/Janjua etc. etc. These are just mere names. Some especially in the Punjab use it more to identify their gaon since certain areas have concentrations of different clans especially in more rural areas of the Province. You can also note that since their ancestors made the right decision to opt for Pakistan ---it means that their faith and their national identity took precedent over something so trivial like so-called ''clan'' or whatever.

in my last post, i did however mention that hindu and Muslim rajputs participated in the Mughal conquest of the ancient subcontinent before india or Pakistan even existed.

The Muslim Mughal experience was actually when there was most semblance of religious harmony and prosperity in the often conquered lands.

Of course nobody can stop the claims coming, its a lot like Ahmadi muslim or not debate, whether they recognize Allah or not, they say they do, others say they don't.

any half-educated person ought to just say ''who gives a flying fcuk''

As Muslims, we believe that at death we will meet the Creator (SWT) and be answerable to Him for our deeds / sins

Living life is just the trial-period only.

let it be known that as a Pashtun I dont even agree with tribal system....i dont agree with Sindhi or Baloch feudal system either.

the way i see and interpret it, those also go counter to the basic principles of Islam.

I just wanted to point that out, in order to preempt any wise-assery on your part

A muslim genuine Rajput o_O.....whatever is that.

You wouldn't be proclaiming it so loudly here once you got to hear what the real Rajputs have to say about you converted impostors ;)

You are confusing ethnic identity with religion. There is nothing wrong keeping tribal identity after conversion to Islam.. Muslims belong to differnt tribes and nations and Islam is not against it.I don't know what is your definition of real rajpout lol Rajpoout were warrior and how conversion make this unreal ?

Rajpout remain warrior after conversion you can see that five Rajputs was awarded Pakistan's top military honour the Nishan-E-Haider :P

You cannot balme Rajpout if they were impressed with teaching of islam :D

Thats what Your nehru said :

“ The fact of subsequent conversion to other faiths, did not deprive them of this heritage; just as the Greeks, after their conversion to Christianity, did not lose pride in the mighty achievements of their ancestors, of the Italians in the great days of the Roman Republic and early empire... Christians, Jews, Parsees, *******. Indian converts to these religions never ceased to be Indian on account of a change of their faith.... ”
—From The Discovery of India by Jawaharlal Nehru[12]

Nehru also mentioned his own personal experience with Muslim Malik Rajputs as he grew up, "I grew to know; the Malik Rajput peasant and petty landholder, still proud of his race and ancestry, even though he might have changed his faith and adopted Islam." More importantly he bears testament to the fact that despite his change of faith, a Rajput is still a Rajput.[13]

“ The general conversion of the Muslim Rajputs from Hinduism is supposed to have taken place towards the end of the 13th or early 14th century AD. The Muslim conquests undoubtedly accelerated this change of religion, but the preaching of several renowned Muslim saints, especially Baba Farid of Pakpattan, whose eloquence drew large numbers to hear him, helped considerably to this end... ”
