Suleman Kuddus, one of the arrested Bangladeshis said, “Bangladeshi people have entered India by crossing the border every day and it is a continuous process.”

They are Bangladeshis and even if they were Rohingyas that makes no difference, you all are the same to us. Btw, stop helping those Rohingyas to cross over to India. @TopCat

Yeah, all lies and deceit from your country.

It could be an old issue then, recent issue involve 30 Rohingya in Assam.

Some isolated incident happens and no one denied it. Such illegal Indians also lives in Bangladesh as well.

There are no millions of Bangladeshis lives in India. On yearly basis at best 1-5000 such Bangladeshis are caught in India and sent back on yearly basis.

How many illegal Bangladeshi are caught in Assam in last 5 years?

This is just to kill the paranoia I am asking.

But why would you send them over to India from Bangladesh when India is providing them aid and relief in your country? Is it not your objective to repatriate them back to Myanmar or do you fear that might never see the light of the day.

You should work directly with MM to repatriate them there. Besides MM are of same gene of you. They will listen you better.

. .
Many. There are kept in the detention center pending legal procedures in the foreigners tribunals. After serving their sentences they are sent back.
85% of them could prove them as Indian according to Indian high court statistics. most of them were wrongly accused.

This is unexpected of you, friend. Please don't bring genetics and racial features into a civil discussion. I like you postings but this is where we draw the line.

Coming to the point, there is no scope for the Rohingyas to enter into India directly from MM. If your country keeps them in their camps and prevent them from entering India illegally we wouldn't have an issue.

India has border with MM. Besides a refugee is a refugee and can get their way to anywhere in the world. they went to Pakistan, Malaysia even as far as Saudi. When India has very strong relation with MM, the MM natioanal like Rohingya may prefer Indian hospitality.

No, many of them are found absconding and don't attend the tribunal hearings once they are let off. These then go into other states of India and work there. Therefore we are asking for a nation wide NRC.

NRC is a good thing.

But you can't expect them Rohingyas to wade through the militancy infested jungles of Chin, Sagaing and Kachin regions into the North East of India where people despise them. The route they take is through the CHT into Tripura and few to Mizoram, and most commonly into West Bengal traversing through Bangladesh.

They actually did cross that jungle in 2012 and reached as far as China when BD kept its border closed. People do unimaginable thing to save their lives.
