Well however safe it is, i don't think now people will let government to develop this. Anti-nuclear group will use this accident as a reason to develop paranoia in the minds on normal people who resides there. All those propagandist needed was this accident.

Also whoever is concernd about India's decision to continue with nuclear program, here's a news flash, China is a doing the same....

Any form of energy production is a hazard so why pin-point just one?

Gas and Oil based power plants also have the tendency to explode. Oil-refineries are also at risk.

We can't just stop energy production and start living in the dark.
