SRINAGAR (IHK): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed tomorrow, Saturday to mourn the killing of youth martyred by Indian troops and police personnel during peaceful uprisings in the past three years, reports KMS.
Call for the shutdown has been given by veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani.The authorities placed the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader under house arrest, today, to prevent him from addressing public gatherings, tomorrow.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and JKLF-R leaders, Farooq Ahmad Dar and Javed Ahmad Mir talking to the Pandit devotees at Mela Kheer Bhawani, said that the Kashmiris struggle was purely for liberation and was not against any particular community or religion.
The Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami in occupied Kashmir, Sheikh Muhammad Hassan addressing a party meeting expressed concern over the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders and activists, languishing in different jails of the territory.
APHC leader, Zafar Akbar Butt said at Mazar-e-Shuhda in Srinagar that unprecedented sacrifices of the people of Kashmir would not be allowed to go waste.
