Hai You Guys watch the ceremony ? i was there standing next to Sri Lankan and his GF !!

I am not sure about our Srilankan, but one Srilankan was there for sure. He was the chief guest and he is the PM of the Island nation.

Would wait for Sri Lankan's comment on how he felt the ceremony was. Surely it was not as par as Opening, but indeed it was closing ceremony only.

I must admit DD presenters and Commentetors were pathetic during Games. Adressing Hamid Ansari as President & when camera was taking close up of a baby spactator. They were calling Bird's Eye view to mention a few.

Face the reality..India spent 6 Billion $ for games in 2010..China spent 50 Billion $ for olympics in 2008..Could india afford it?, we have 1/4 chinas GDP..We have Half of worlds Hungry people...600million toilet less people..Spend money on them, and after 10 years think of bidding for olympics beyond 2032.
Better walk properly on earth before aiming on stars

I really hate this self imposed responsibility when we over-do criticizing......we(youth) are good at criticism but lack execution....only criticism wont do any good to us....

1) If we win Olympics bid that we are aspiring to...we should be prepared to spend >50 billlion for the game (11 yrs down the line this should be feasible).....

2) Our GDP is good enough....and got to grow further.....(the question is whether we can afford >50 billion dollars for this spectacle.....and not how big are chinese GDP.....)

4) Poverty, toilets, poor medical infrastructure are major problems but they are being handled with a lot of strategy and planning by proper authorities...and a lot of money is being spend on them too and spending got to increase further (PM himself said at AIIMS convocation this yr that spending on public health in proportion to GDP will increase further......you will see a lot of improvent within 5yr (as u should realise that things have improves in last 5yrs)....AND I AM SURE CHINESE OR OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE THEIR FAIR SHARE OF PROBLEMS AS WELL.......
