Actually Govt opened the border in order to stop anarchy in common folks who are too much interested in brotherhood and hate Al according to the propaganda of opposition . Even some idiots still believe that govt should give citizenship to their Muslim brothers ( Rohingyas) , never understand a reality that pushing Muslim citizens in Muslim countries is not blessing but curse . It's actually enemy policy to be freed from their Muslim population without losing an inch of land from their land .

Thankfully Bangladeshi peoples are understanding their policy after rohyinga problem , so they will not create trouble if govt keep close Indian border if by any chance India start doing the same thing .

So i do not think India will be able to do so . And if hey try , Bangladesh will not seat on hand to watch .

The Rohingya issue needed an urgent response to save those people from being killed and burnt. Bangladesh did the right thing by opening the borders.

If Bangladesh wanted to, it could have initiated war against Myanmar. Because even though our air Force is underwhelming, the Burmese don't have the military strength to win a war decisively against a country of 160 million people. Any such war would have been a stalemate. But Bangladesh's economy would have felt a devastating impact.

It was the right thing to do by allowing the Rohingya in both in terms of Islam and from a humanitarian point of view.

The case with India is not the same. We have heard all these absurd figures from the Indian politicians for years now. I even heard one guy claiming 30 million illegal Bangladeshi in India. Talk about pulling numbers out of "backside".

These are all their internal politics. Fear sells and these guys are just going by Trump's playbook. India cannot afford to push out millions of people without facing significant sanctions and damaging it's reputation. That's bad for business.

But our border guards do need to be vigilant for any Indian attempts to push in Indian citizens to Bangladesh.

KOLKATA: West Bengal BJP chief and parliamentarian Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday said that nearly two crore Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators have entered the country out of which one crore are in his state and remaining 1 crore have spread across the country.

''2 crore Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators have entered India. 1 crore are in West Bengal and 1 crore have spread across the country. We will not allow any Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrator to stay here. If their names are in voters' list then it will be removed,'' Ghosh said while addressing a public rally to create awareness about the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.

The West Bengal BJP parliamentarian's statement comes amid ongoing protests against the CAA and National Register of India (NRC) across the country.

Ghosh, while addressing a rally in the North 24 Parganas district on Sunday, had said that nearly 50 lakh Muslim infiltrators will be identified and chased out of the country if needed.

Attacking West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for opposing Citizenship Amendment law and NRC, Ghosh said, "Firstly, the names of Muslim infiltrators will be removed from voters` list then didi (in reference to Mamata Banerjee) cannot appease anyone."

He said there will be a reduction in the number of votes to Banerjee in the 2021 state assembly election following the process of removing infiltrators` names from the voters` list.

"Once this is done, didi`s votes will be reduced and in the coming elections, we will get 200 seats, she will not even get 50 seats," he said.

Ghosh also made a blistering attack on the opposition parties for supporting the nationwide anti-CAA and NRC protests and said, "their hearts bleed for infiltrators".

Ghosh had, last week, sparked controversy by threatening to shoot down those who damaged public property and accused Banerjee of not taking action as "they are her voters".

He later doubled down on his remark by stating that such people "will never be spared".

It may be noted that the Mamata Banerjee government on Tuesday said that it will bring an anti-CAA resolution in the state assembly on January 27. This came after Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Centre won't take back the citizenship law however hard the opposition might protest.

Addressing a pro-CAA rally at Lucknow, the Home Minister challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and others to hold an open debate with him on the new legislation. Several protests were held across West Bengal, many of which turned violent and caused damage to public property.

The CAA grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh and who came to India on or before December 31, 2014.

Just watch the news this year (And following years etc). BD already officially admitted 500 or so back....that is already a non-zero figure (and slap to their collective faces when earlier they were saying its impossible any BD illegal lives in India...forget these clowns saying "not happening").

That is also just what BGB has been told by its controllers to say. Like what was earlier employed in the aftermath of BDR pilkhana episode too (name change to BGB for a reason).

There are reports of many hundreds returning to BD each day (you can google these up), as their life has now been made intolerable (having been pointed out and made unemployable by former employers) and they clearly have better reason to be back in BD where they are legal citizens, having stashed their documentation there and have their family network based there.

The border telecom shutdown by BD just confirms it even more. Thats another face saving stunt they did, but its being worked around as we speak right now.

Behind the scenes India and BD are cooperating to get the illegals repatriated. This is part of the package validating Hasina's re-election.

Anyway simply give it enough time, and in mean time have a chuckle at BD members here thinking Hasina gives a crap about what they squeal and claim, given they arent supposed to be posting here (PDF being on other side of BD national mandated firewall) in first place.

BJP's West Bengal unit chief Dilip Ghosh said on Sunday that the government is committed to implementing the proposed nationwide NRC and will send back 1 crore Bangladeshi Muslims living in the state illegally.

Addressing a rally in the North 24 Parganas district, Ghosh said that those opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) are anti-Bengali and against the idea of India.

He said 1 crore illegal Muslims in the state are "thriving" on the government's Rs 2 per kg subsidised rice.

"We will send them back," he announced.

"These illegal Bangladeshi Muslims are involved in arsons across the state," Ghosh added

He said that he has no qualms in being branded communal for supporting the cause of Hindu refugees, who had to run for their life after being religiously persecuted.

"Those who are opposing the CAA are either anti-India or anti-Bengali. They are against the idea of India that is why they are opposing Hindu refugees getting citizenship," Ghosh said.

Continuing his tirade against eminent personalities, opposing the CAA and the proposed nationwide NRC, he said their "hearts bleed for infiltrators".

"What about Hindu refugees? They don't have any answers. This is a double standard," Ghosh said, days after terming them "parasites".

Exuding confidence about forming the next government in West Bengal, the controversial BJP leader said Mamata Banerjee's party will be restricted to 50 seats in the 2021 state polls.
