I think Musharraf's problem is that he misses his original motherland a lot. Bar bar delhi ata hai, kabhi kargil me sota hai; he is desperately homesick. While going back from Kargil, he must have taken handful of watan ki mitti with him. It's difficult to take India out of an Indian, no matter where he goes in the world.

there is no "Indian side" it isindian occupied land that needs to be freed; pakistan troops were just going into their own land illegally occupied by the indians; yes pervez may have been brave to go in there but he is also an incompetent who launched an operation without proper planning and then abandoned the men once the things got out of control.....as for the brilliant "tactical" operation --jsut shows pervez's incompetence -no operation is "tactical" all need to be part of an operational and strategic plan to be meaningful.....all those brave men were sacrificed for nothing....

1. Being an army official he was always committed and been with his troops even in games despite he was a Gen.


2. now being a civilian and ordinary Pakistani he has all rights to first look after his security for a position in future where he could use the power to fulfill his committement to his country.

I remember watching one TV talk show where in mushraff was there (this happened towards the end of his term as president or just after he quit) where in the journalist once mentioned to mushraff There are people from pakistan (read journalist) why you indians like mushraff when we dont in pakistan.....
