(COMMANDO) pervaiz musharaf strikes back!

. .
. .
I just said this about him on another thread about Mush:

he was not ruthless enough. He should have eliminated 1500 to 2000 people when he came to power. The public had their fill off PPP and PNA(N) not once but twice. He would have had popular support for his actions. Ironically he was too democratic lol

A cross between him and Zia would be good though

I think it is relevant here too

. .
if, nawaz sharif & BB can stay away, from pakistan for long long, time, & can stage thier come back, why cant (the commando) come back, to pakistan? or Who you think, will stop him?zardari, gillani, NS, SONNAMI KHAN? its kind a funny question. mate!
about your UAE & baluchistan, story! plz put a link here?
about, your question his so-called (baighiyararti) thing, at least , he is still very ghayrat mand man than, asif zardari, gillani, nawaz sharif, & imran khan, we can compare all, the details regrding , personal, or ijtimai?
you really, dont have any strong , answers to his, good governence, & his vision ?right
!

well did he or did he NOT run away??? and if he is a "commando" then why not come back like one and face cases aginast himself??? how is he any better than nawaz or anyone when he does exactly the same thing as them?

& good governance?!!!! how??? did he built a single dam? did he finish our debt? did he open and start gawadar? answer is NO!!!!

so what did he do besides lal masji & TTP and drone strikes?!!!

.
The commando's show of support in Pakistan could be gauged by his party's "Jalsa"..
wherein some 100 people from mostly military, bureaucracy and business backgrounds(who profited during his tenure) came up ..
which did apparently cause him a lot of discomfort and damaged his ego beyond repair.
He is finished..and is now only good for giving interviews and lectures..
All his property in Pakistan sits idle and ready which he will never be able to taste..
and eventually when he does pass will end up being divided between Ayla and her siblings.

.
He needs to come back to Pakistan. His time of rule was great & he was a popular personality around the world at that time & even now if he comes back & run Pakistan he will do a fine job.

All the cases against him are baseless & have no reality these cases are all made by the corrupt PPP, PML-N & BLA etc.

Highest level of funding in the history of Pakistan for Higher education, research and development.
Numerous new high tech. universities/institutes. A 700% increase in research paper output.
Collaboration with foreign institutes.
Higher education commission and Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman.

A plan to build a knowledge based economy.

Irrigation of newer areas by building 3 new canals; brick-lining of existing waterways, a comprehensive water policy, Neelum-Jhelum Power project. Alternative energy development board and Pakistan's first wind power station.

Lowari tunnel; signal free corridors (karachi); Makran coastal highway, Gwadar-Ratodero motorway; Sialkot international airport; Gwadar port; Revival of ship building in Pakistan; addition of 7 new cargo ships in PNSC (which had an inventory of only 3 before that).

A stable rupee against dollar, Pakistan steel on profit, new industries, highest exports in the history, highest FDI (now reduced at least 65%); stock markets at their peak (gaining many times their original value). PSDP from Rs. 80 Billion to Rs. 580 Billion. Poverty decreased from 33% to 24%.

Advances in defence industries; ideas expos, introduction of various new technologies and equipment in the arsenal, new delivery systems for the delivery of nukes, development of command and control structures for nukes.

A peaceful Karachi, very few drone attacks, law and order a lot better than today. A new local government system (lauded even by the adversaries), better representation of women and minorities in legislative assemblies, moderate enlightenment (panned by Mullahs - that's a positive point :D).

He is an honest and visionary person, who happened to come to power at a time when International powers had an agenda to Balkanize the Middle East and stop China's ambitious trade and energy plans.

Plus,

Once you have got the 'Islamic Bomb' there is no way 'somebody' will want you to progress and prosper. It's a totally different ballgame. Musharraf or not.

.
Musharraf's days are over on the political front. He hasn't been able to garner the support he had hoped for. He has no political base, and being abroad to fight a campaign is futile.

Faced with the charges against him, lack of party workers on the ground, political companions or backers, no noticeable army support, he's yesterdays news.

If Imran Khan with all his early buzz hasn't been able to severly rock the PPP and its allies, how on earth can you expect Musharraf who is sitting 3,700 miles away from Islamabad to?

Let's move on and look to the future.

Whatever "prosperity" that was shown during Musharraf's times was fuelled by consumerism..
telecom, cars.. goods.. etc.
There was no actual development for the nation.. just people appeasement.
At least Nawaz Sharif made the motorway(which the commando shamelessly claimed as his own by putting a plaque there)
