for this we have opened a thread. could have very easily gone in the PAF News Discussions section...

Our officials have been coordinating and communicating regularly and maintain a healthy relationship. These meetings allow us to address our shared concerns and prevent any issues from arising. We’ve come a long way in our decade long partnership, and it is imperative for us to remain unified for the sake of achieving our shared objectives. We have shared interests in the region, and no one can deny our commitment to restoring peace in the region. We reiterate what Jen Psaki, Department of State Spokesperson, said recently: “We have a very strong ongoing dialogue with Pakistan regarding all aspects of the relationship and our shared interests, including security and counterterrorism cooperation. And we work together to address each other’s concerns. As we move forward with our counterterrorism operations, it is critically important that we continue to work closely with our partners throughout the world, providing them with the support they need, helping build their capacity to carry out counterterrorism operations in their own countries.”

looks like we are not doing a very good job of it....case in point the non-delivery of 14 F-16A/B's which were approved by the Bush Admin in 2006!
