Combat Helicopters/Choppers

Really? The way I see it, you gotta be a fixed wing jet with anti-radiation missiles and some sort of electronic warfare ability to qualify as an SEAD-capable aircraft. Clearly Apache doesn't fit in that role, not even with the hands of mighty Uncle Sam.
I think apaches were used in Iraq war to destroy mobile radars (not sams...).as most of the control centers, air bases etc were already taken down by F-117.

You are right. During the First Gulf War of 1991, Before, Allies launch first wave of aerial attack, on 17 January 1991, 6-8 Appaches, were sent at night of 16 January. to take out a radar system at some border outpost, to punch a hole in the radar coverage. Once this radr system was taken out, Then real cavalery was called. The point to bhe noted that it was a classical SEAD mission, where instead of fighters, helicopters were used, which flew nap of earth, in the cover of darkness.

Appache is one othe most combat proven aircarft, besides AH-1F Cobra and MI-24/35 Hinds. Appache has seen much action in Gulf, Bosnia and Israel, then any other gunship.
Anybody interested, then watch movie Fire Birds, based on Appaches, starring Nicholas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones.

I just love the Black Hawk helis.....

Description
The UH 60 Black Hawk is a utility tactical transport helicopter that replaces the UH-1 "Huey". The versatile Black Hawk has enhanced the overall mobility of The Army, due to dramatic improvements in troop capacity and cargo lift capability, and will serve as The Army's utility helicopter in the Objective Force. On the asymmetric battlefield, it provides the commander the agility to get to the fight quicker and to mass effects throughout the battlespace across the full spectrum of conflict. An entire 11-person, fully-equipped infantry squad can be lifted in a single Black Hawk, transported faster than in predecessor systems, in most weather conditions. The Black Hawk can reposition a 105 mm Howitzer, its crew of six, and lift up to 30 rounds of ammunition in a single lift. The aircraft's critical components and systems are armored or redundant, and its airframe is designed to progressively crush on impact to protect the crew and passengers.

To see PA operating this was one of my dreams still to be fulfilled.

Enjoy the video.
