There is a deeper story here and its one the of encircling Pakistan, isolating it and then attacking it.
Iraq case was built up slowly. The world was given constant feed of fake news about Iraq from 1991. Once the opinion was created, it was ruthlessly attacked and so many Iraqis lost their lives. While the world was still thinking what went on in Iraq, Libya was attacked and destroyed. Now Syria is being decimated.
The West imperialism has a conscience. This conscience is built on self righteous values which the rest of the world is supposed to adopt. If they dont adopt it, or are seen not fitting that standard, they are ostracized by slander or sanction.
Pakistani blasphemy is a bad law. No defence for it. It has been misused. Its a fact. Its Pakistan's internal matter and there is a very vigorous debate on it all the time in the country. Who is Italy to tell us if its bad?
I see interlink between how USA is now pursuing anti Pakistan policies and this sudden rush of conscientious actions - whether this event or pursuing Pakistan on terror financing list. By the way terror like human right before, is another weapon in the armory of imperial west to subjugate and dictate to the world.
