The only affordable option is joining the military and after retiring you get free college but who knows you get blown up by Hezbollah or Taliban before you retire.well it depends, the what and the where often determine your cost exposure. Medical school, sure, Ivy League of course but there are affordable options.

Why should they? They haven't earned anything yet. Being Americans is just a gift from their parents.
Off Topic: You can answer it if you want to.yes I hear it often especially when I meet my European family. I think CEO's are overpaid and I know a few of them - I can't see why any of them deserve the huge pay packet. But again that is only part of it, but many Americans feel like I do, Sometimes, somewhat apologetic about Washington policies, other times absolutely outraged. Overall, I am proud of the activism that I see in my country, people trying to improve upon a two and half century old idea. America is vibrant, America is brave, America is stupid, America is broken, America is strong, America is vulnerable, America is evolving.
Contrast that with the hyper nationalism that I see elsewhere in Asia, India and China.
i wonder if nationalism has overtaken sanity and if we are seeing the first embers of flame that will destroy the world.
