It's pretty simple actually just compare death rates from 2020 to 2021,India had an anomaly of deaths, to the tune of at least 6 mil. That's how you know India was lying.

Normally, death rates for a country us pretty consistent year after year, but from 2020 to 2021,India had an excess of 6 million deaths, this recorded deaths btw, we haven't even include deaths of lower caste dalits in some remote village. The 6 millions figure already too into account minor fluctuations, so it's pretty accurate.
