KARACHI:
The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding for setting up coal power plants up to 1,000 megawatts (MW) with Bright Eagle Enterprise Group – a Hong Kong based company sponsored by Chinese and Korean investors.
KESC Executive Director Syed Naveed Ahmad and Bright Eagle Enterprises Chairman Chen Ping signed the memorandum on behalf of their companies in Hong Kong. Bright Eagle Enterprise is also collaborating for conversion of KESC’s 1,260 MW Bin Qasim power plant-I from residual fuel oil to coal under a joint development agreement.

Thanks good. I think they should also increase the capacity as well from 1260 to 2100 MW for Bin Qasim power plant-I.
