Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has announced to provide all possible assistance to the Balochistan province in computerization of land record‚ solid waste management projects and setting-up of 1122 emergency services.
He was talking to Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Maalik Baloch who called on him in Lahore on Thursday.
He said about five hundred Baloch students are studying in Danish schools and the Punjab government has doubled this quota.
The amount of scholarship has also been enhanced for such students.
Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab has contributed two hundred fifty million rupees for their earth quake hit brothers of Balochistan.
The Balochistan Chief Minister appreciated gestures of Punjab in the education sector and rehabilitation of quake hit people of Balochistan.
Meanwhile‚ Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated newly elected office-bearers of Lahore Press Club.
In his felicitating message to the newly elected office-bearers‚ the Chief Minister expressed the hope that they will play their effective role for solving the problems of journalists’ community and further strengthening the government-media relations.
